So give me all the advice you wish you had taken.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1156281

What should I do that you did? What should I do that you didn't?

Spd/Agi/Vis ?
Then Jumping, then catching?

Do you have a different formula?

No BS, I want to learn and test this position to be the best in the league a few seasons from now. How would you do it? Would you help me?

Train: speed+agility till speed gets to 30 then soft cap
Train: agility+vision till agility gets to 30 then soft cap
Train: vision+jumping till vision gets to 30 then soft cap
Train: jumping+strength while second capping agility, then speed, then vision, then third cap agility and speed
Once jumping gets to 35 or so, train strength+tackle till

In slow-building two cbs to level 30, I've found that strength is more important to pass coverage than catching, so go that route.

Tell me about your strategy on SA's...

Which SA's help out in a Shutdown role? as an INT machine? Returner? Which of these is most successful, which one is best?

Great answer!

Does anyone disagree with this method? Not a lot of room left for improvisation, as the build is set from start to finish. Do others agree with this formula? I challenge others to post a formula so detailed. Especially the personal experience in the end. How did others come up with their strategies... what are their successes and failings that they have learned from their own builds and beloved characters?

Thanks for the input!

Man I hope you know what you're talking about, because this is exactly the route I'm going with my CB right now. I'm curious as to why you said to cap speed first, but then 2nd and 3rd cap agility first though.

Because 1) he has higher speed than agility so it will train to 30 first and 2) there is no speed+vision training.

Thanks for your input, LHF1024.

Anyone else feel contrary to this opinion? Or is this the only way to build a star CB?

I 100% agree with the training. That's how I worked my guys.

train speed/agility til speed is 23 + you want to cap an attribute ASAP. keep adding sps until speed is 61. train agility/vision in the meant time until agility is 28 then switch to vision/jumping while you 61 cap agility. finally switch to jumping/stamina while you either take vision to 61 or cap vision and cap jumping. hell be roughly 24 and taking speed directly to 61 will me much more benifitial

Nice.

All input appreciated.

Any subtle changes you would suggest? What is your most successful CB build?

LHfan stated the exact thing that I am doing with my Lvl 4 CB. Good advice.

yes go jumping and catching, then after you cap jumping go to str and tackling.

you also want to cap vision twice a.s.a.p. after speed and agility are at least double capped.
