The 9 Enquirer: Rankings Week 2

Hello, fellow owners/gms/players of the USA BBB#9. Welcome to another ranking, posted by The 9 Enquirer .

Not to my surprise, every single team saw a change in their rank except for the #1 and #2 and #26.

(1)1. Alabama Tidesports Crimson Tide 5-0-0 - There really isn’t anything to say about them. They’re THAT good.

(2)2. Indianapolis Gangsters 5-0-0 - They’ve only given up 12 points in 5 games, I mean is there any offense that can actually be a challenge to them, score a touchdown?

(5)3. Houston Outlaws 5-0-0 - Being number 2 in the league with the most yards in passing, the Outlaws have pretty much bulldozed everyone.

(3)4. The Elite Sea Team 5-0-0 - After a couple of close games, the Elite Sea Team falls down a rank, they have an easy week this week and should go 3-0 once again.

(10)5. Hollywood Stars 4-1-0 - Beating the Warriors and then the next two games, the Stars rightfully takes the 5th spot.

(12)6. Montpelier Morticians 5-0-0 they’ll have to face the Crimson Tide this week. Having probably one of the easiest starting games, the Morticians now have a long hill to climb.

(13)7. South Texas Thunder 4-1-0 - Beating the Kansas City Wiz, they jump up 6 places from the previous rankings.

(22)8. Austin Vampires 4-1-0 - Wow, going from 22 to 8th in 3 games, not bad. But they probably have the hardest week; Outlaws, Thunder, and Warriors. It’ll be hard for them to come out of this week with just one win.

(4)9. Honolulu Warriors 3-2-0 - After losing to the Stars and Wiz, the Warriors fall 5 ranks. They’ll have to show the committee what they can do this week by probably winning all three games if they want to go back up.

(18)10. New York Doom 3-1-1 - The Doom may have beaten the Barons because of their record. But they’re facing the Barons this week and will have to prove to the league if they deserve the 10th spot.

(19)11. St. Louis Beer Barons 3-2-0 - Last week they were 1 behind Doom, and once again 1 behind. Having skipped 9 teams to place 11th, the Barons have a hard week this week; they have to face the Gangsters and Doom.

(6)12. Kansas City Wiz 3-2-0 - Although they beat the Warriors, they did lose against the Outlaws and Thunder. They’ll have an easy week this week and perhaps be able to go back to where they ranked last week.

(15)13. Omaha Shockers 3-2-0 - Beating the previous ranked 7th Renegades, the Shockers rank 13; but looking at their match-ups this week, expect them to drop.

(11)14. Radio City Irrelevants 3-2-0 - They have the capability of beating the bottom 16, but not so much with the upper 16. But they could get an upset against the Morticians.

(9)15. New Hampshire Snaggle Wreckers 2-2-1 - Not being able to score anything in their last two games really hurt this team. The owner might want to look into getting some human players for his offense.

(8)16. Miami Carniceros 2-2-1 - Standing right on the middle, the Carniceros should be ranked higher than where they are currently placed but they lost two and tied this week. Maybe they should start looking for a new OC and DC.

(24)17. El Paso Bandits 2-3-0 - Although losing to the Los Angeles Sweetness kind of hurt them. They have a solid foundation and will definitely contend for that playoff spot.

(7)18. Riverside Renegades 2-3-0 - Dropping 11 places, wow. The Renegades definitely have the most to prove to the committee, especially versus the Stars. Maybe the owner should start looking for other human players to start instead of being a literally one-man show.

(14)19. Chicago Dire Wolves 2-3-0 - The Dire Wolves will have an easier time this week after facing the Morticians and Crimson Tide.

(17)20. Charlotte Clamjousters 2-3-0 - They have the starting roster to contend maybe for a playoff spot, but this team doesn’t really have any eye-opening players. Lets see if they can win as a team.

(20)21. Albany Mammoths 2-3-0 - This team has the players to be good, but they just can’t seem to be able to control the clock.

(25)22. Tampa Elite 2-3-0 - Losing by a field goal against the Cougars really hurt them. This week they’ll have the chance to show the committee if they’re worth a spot in the sweet 16.

(21)23. Miami Sharks 1-3-1 - Averaging more than 20 pts given per game the team really needs to fix up their defense. They should have been able to contend against the Tampa Elite and the Beer Barons; but they’ve just been outplayed, new OC and DC, anyone??

(23)24. Scranton Tunas 1-4-0 - Probably THE most under-ranked team right now. With new ownership and new players, expect them to definitely contend for the playoffs this season.

(27)25. BC Lions 1-4-0 - They have a couple of hard games this week. Now although they have the players, the Coordinators better step up if they want to try to win some games.

(26)26. Palmyra Cougars 1-4-0 - Averaging just 4.6 pts per game, they have probably one of the WORST defense. The Cougars better change whatever they’re doing fast if they want to even try to make it into the top 20.

(28)27. TEAM Chuck Norris 1-4-0 - This team is going to need more than Chuck Norris’ roundhouse kick if they want to try to win at least 4 games.

(31)28. Los Angeles Sweetness 1-4-0 - Beating the El Paso Bandits has given them the rank 28. But they’ll most likely stay at this position unless they can start winning.

(16)29. Cary Carpetbaggers 1-4-0 - The only reason they’re ranked one less than the Sweetness is because they beat the BC lions, not the Bandits.

(29)30. Pittsburgh Irons 0-5-0 - The offense is completely inconsistent as well as having a weak defense. But they could look for their first win this week against the Express.

(32)31. Cleveland Express 0-5-0 - They’ve only allowed 138 points in 5 games, so they’re 31st.

(30)32. Oakland Terror 0-5-0 - They should be a better team than the Express but giving away 200 points with only 17 points to compare to, they rightfully hold the spot as the worst team in the league.

Thank you for all the Members of the Committee that have sent in your rankings, once again.

PLEASE post comments/ideas/opinions/etc. Maybe spelling error or an idea that you would like to see.
Everything will be taken into consideration and will try to make all the viewers happy .

p.s. If any other potential members would like to join the Committee please post here http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=122092
or send me a pm.

p.p.s. Next rankings will be displayed on Monday 12, in May.

p.p.s. the PTW (player/people to watch for) was not implemented because of the lack of time I had. I’m truly sorry for the delay of the rankings as well, but it has really been a busy day for me and I hope you guys understand as well as the committee.

p.p.p.s. Just to get the discussion going, who do you guys think is the harder division?? The West or the East???

Thanks for the info, I updated it right now.

So who's the better league, east or west??? In my opinion, I'm going to have to go with the east.

I agree, the east is a stronger league. Alabama, Indy and New York make it scary as hell

shouldn't you be making a processor work?

also glad we don't have to play the big guns in the east, but i'm definitely not looking forward to playing the top of the west this week either.

i'll pick west just because

Well the side comments and looking into their team and whatnot kind of takes awhile.

I'm too tired to think... the processor can wait. We're gonna need some luck against the teams we're facing this week and that luck isnt gonna come from the number of x86 instructions my processor can handle... Should be fun

Still think that the Outlaws should be ranked higher than #3!

I'm a little scared about tomorrow. I'm hoping my players don't get killed.

GL Outlaws.

These rankings are pretty fair too, there's a lot to take into account and I'm glad somebody is taking the time to do so. I'd say the leagues are pretty even, but I sure as hell don't want to face Bama's HB again

Keep up the good work! Awesome stuff, and good luck to everyone, we sure lucked out in getting such a nice draw of competitors in our league!

I really don't have to do much, since there's a committee behind The 9 Enquirer which does the rankings and I just determine the positions from the many rankings sent by the members.

But this week will be definitely interesting to watch for many teams.

I would. It would be nice to rep a little bit for the Outlaws!

To reply to the comment in the rankings next to the gangsters, the Crimson Tide do not believe we will have any issues in scoring against them.
