ok in scrimmage games it is kind of funny but what is going on with my SS?

in this play he decided to take out the LT and remove the cut back lane

this time chip blocking the DT while pursuing that damn LT

this time he decides to chip block the MLB and then chase the play

What the hell? Even if it is a blitz why would the safety blitz the opposite gaps to his side of the field?

granted he was one of my first and I was a bit of an SA whore but my ggod. last year the guy was a solid player not spectacular but solid this season he runs to the wrong side of the field?

Would help if we knew your build. I'm guessing bad vision.

45 vision to start, was curious he was johnny on the spot last year. No matter I reworked some equipment got it up to 55 and will throw sp and training at it this season. I did notice the other SS on the team was doing that as well. I think cover 1 coupled with vision caused him to go to a predetermined spot without adjusting to the play. vision it is

My SS was playing like he was on drugs during this latest scrimmage...and he has 60+ vision. There is something seriously wrong with his pathing and/or decisionmaking.

Looks like you in a zone with you ss running to fill his assigned spot, now there still looks an bug of some sort, i.e. he should have brole of the route in the zone to prusue the ball carrier.

This hasnt been the issue on any replay I saw. Also, that isnt the "pathing bug"

Wow, something has gotta be wrong--doesn't seem like a "vision" issue would cause that . . .
