I've been holding off on SA's for my CB until now. I just boosted him and have 7 SP unspent, have been thinking of spending on SA's finally. Some vitals--

Level 31. He has natural 3rd-capped Speed (66), Agility (64) and Vision (61).

Other important stats: Jumping (28), Tackling (25), Stamina (32), Strength (24)

Nothing spent on SA's, Custom in Speedster tree. I hear Superior Vision is the huge thing? How is First Step for CB's? Shutdown Corner worth it?

Thanks for any advice!

SHUTDOWN is worth it. Sadly, SMOOTH OPERATOR not so much. SUPER VISION with 61 would be great. CHANGE DIRECTION [and FIRST STEP] are also great choices.

With 7 SP's:
SWAT BALL - 1 [1 SP, 1 total]
STICKY HANDS - 2 [2 SP's, 3 total]
SUPER VISION - 3 [4 SP's, 7 total]

Word. How proven is Super Vision exactly? And will I notice a difference in performance with 3 in that ability or does it take a few more levels to get effective?

Shutdown is definately worth it.

It's a shame you have to put so many points into Smooth Operator though.

smooth operator is not that bad. it allows you to play closer to the WR. when bump and run coverage is finally coded, your going to be thankful you have smooth operator.

I don't have my guys to that point yet, but most say 5+ is when SA's become noticeable and effective.

i have a couple of CBs that i am testing some things out with. one is a conventional supervision/shutdown build. the other just has 2nd capped vision and will go FS/CD. I have a feeling that the FS/CD route is going to win out.
