See how at the end, the dot kinda breaks through for an extra yard or so? Bort said he made some slight animation changes so maybe this is Dive 4 Yardage? Just a thought.

I see ball carriers at all positions doing this, I don't think it's any ability activating, I just think Bort made it so when the play ends a more accurate look at where the ball carrier actually ended up is displayed.

Bort has been pretty clear that all players try to dive for yards on every tackle, and the defender's "tackle quality" is the mitigating factor vs. the ball carrier's diving ability. I also remember him mentioning diving for yardage several seasons ago as one of the things jumping helped with, in fact, if I recall correctly, it was the first thing he mentioned after jumping for a pass.

My HB had something very close to that on my last game, but I don't have Dive for Yardage SA
