You don't buy teams off players!

They sell them for 500fp + 400 per season if they don't want them anymore and you find them on the buy team option so this will not encourage more people to sell.

Ahh got you...So we can not purchase it for more then 1000fps - got ya....Did not know that.

I was just trying to get a team...see some folks own like 5 or something and was trying to get one to play around and see hwo it works.

check the boards I was told if someone did not want the team anymore they can post and you can get it from them....Guess I was mis-informed.

Actually, from what I understand, you can buy teams off players. It happens all the time. An admin simply needs to be pm'ed for the transaction to be approved and it will be the standard 1000FP price that it would cost to buy one. They don't want owners profiting from the transaction but understand that many of us have jobs and can't simply refresh the teams screen all day looking for a team.

Yes, I think the worst aspect of this game is that some players own more than one team. It really smacks of an ole' boys club. If you were here at the start of first season and bought more than one team, you get grandfathered past the 1 team per person rule. There really should be a forced selling of excess teams. You could even give full flex refunds so they don't have anything to complain about. I really have never been give a reasonable answer as to why this hasn't been addressed yet.

I also figured that - I bought the flex points - I should be able to do what I want with them. But I can see the reason for this and it does make sense.

Its to bad some are using the teams as a farm club then stacking another team and swatting everyone ...but hey guess that the way it goes.

My main concern with owners having multiple teams is that they use at least one of them for farm teams. I think if this is an obvious pattern, the owner should be stripped of the team. Or possibly just prohibit the trading of players from one team to another if they are owned by the same person. Although, I'm sure people would just create aliases to circumvent the system but it would stop the current multi-teamers from doing this.

I think you should only be able to own one team...period...some people actually have a job that doesn't allow them to sit on a computer and keep hitting the refresh button...JMO

I have not seen a CPU team since before or close to the start of season #1

do a search for human owners on CPU teams and you will find them
