It doesn't seem like I can find a general consensus on how to build something like I could for C or DE.

I'm thinking 90s speed low 70s agility 50s vision by the early 30s for when I make my CB but I dunno would something else work better?

If by every team, you mean at level 40+ when my guy is level 24.

Hell most Level 40's still dont have agil + vision 2nd capped.

If you want a CB guide, follow Dee and you won't fuck up your CB, and by the time you hit level 32+ your CB will be one of the best CB's at his level.

Just keep in mind that his build order is based on not having to play in meaningful games until he is near or past level 30. If you don't have the luxury of slow building on a farm team for that long you will probably have to raise certain attributes/SAs earlier than he is doing (stamina being a big one).

There are a few different ways to build a CB.

1) Some people are big believers in Speed / Agility at a 1:1 ratio and split their equipment equally between the both.
For this kind of build you would want to shoot for 80/80 spd / agi by level 30 w/ equipment

2) Other people would rather have more speed than agility and put all their equipment into speed and invest the extra points into either soft capped jumping or 1st / 2nd cap vision early on.
For this kind of build you would want to have around 61 Agility and 68 Speed by level 30 and then put all your equipment into speed and raise it to 83+ w/ equipment and have either 48 / 48 jumping - vision or 61 vision.

I personally prefer #1 since I would rather maximize my natural level ups in Speed and Agility and help me raise both stats beyond 73 without having to spend any more sp on them. So the sooner the better to soft cap them at 73.

I like to simulate a lot of approaches to CB builds with this thing:

This might help you more than a simple forum post.

The best thing to do when starting out on either of these approaches is set training to Normal at level 1 and work on either Speed or Agility (probably whichever is higher when you finish rolling your player) and immediately soft cap it at 48 when you have to sp to do so.

Next, unless you are on a slow build team, change training to Intense and train either speed and stamina or agility and stamina together. Meanwhile, once you have 24 sp you should raise your selected stat to 61 and keep training the other.

Now if you are slowbuilding your CB I would suggest either taking your selected stat to 68 before soft capping the other. If not, raise the stat you have been working on to 48, switch training to either vision or stamina and jumping.

If you are looking for more of a long term slow build approach either PM me or Brit. I would be more than happy to help out.

At Level 24 Dee can play very well now.

But for his 2nd season he had 21 stamina all year, which anyone actually playing a CB on a competitive team would find to be insufficient.

If you play as the #3 or #4 CB you can get away with it.

it all depends on what kind of corner you want... shutdown, play making, perhaps blitzing... im sure you could find at least one build guide for the first two. blitzing CB is still kind of experimental...

Would be interesting to see what a high speed / agility CB with 7+ First Step and Blitz could do. Wonder if CBs can roll Tunnel Vision.

I have a 80+ speed 65+ agil CB/KR that has 9 FS 9 Blitz. He seems to do a good job playing as #5 CB and blitzing alot.
