I have noticed that Tricon has joined Green Bay and Sledge is on board as a GM. They are now in the process of adding Robert Mathis from DDL.

Congrats on using the Monkey smoke screen to build a contender in the East!

Wow...PP has really done it now... GLB will never be the same. Pack your bags and go home. Salary cap anyone?

Thanks, but I'm not dumb enough to even think about chalking any game in the W column yet.

Thanks. I PMed him to be sure he'd be cool with it before I PMed TSE (as I would with any player). I really don't know much about what went on and I don't want to know. I should say this, though. Pulling off the trade wasn't easy (because of all the players involved:5 of mine for those 3) and TSE was very accommodating. If he hadn't been, I'd have never been able to pull it off (can't trade more than 3 players at once (or do 2 trades with the same team) and I couldn't cut the other 2 because I'd just redid their deals to get rid of their no trade clauses. So, he is trusting that I'll cut them in 4 more days and let him sign them).

Edit: sure not saying that makes him a hero or anything, but figured I should mention it. That said, if there's a further pissing match, the players on my team are always right in my book and will get my full support (in a public forum anyway).

The question on everyone's mind is did the trade improve your 'spirit of the game' score?

Very interesting / ironic huh?

TSE says he doesn't agree with owners who have a ton of their own players because it is an unfair advantage...... and then he turns around and trades his best player to a guy who was only able to outbid me *because of* his large supply of players.

I think that argument is dead now from TSE.

I cant say I blame either of them though. Good luck to all parties involved.....

Don't worry...you & PP weren't the only horses in that race.
