Yes blame it on the LVL 5 QB with 7 TDs when the WR is only LVL 1 and can't catch a cold.

Play 1: Get open. You were covered.
Play 2: You went too far.
Play 3: You were double-covered and the QB was pressured.

The QB is better than you, and you'll be better shortly. Assuming any owner will take you after you T.O'd your own quarterback after your first game, that is.
