So I guess I have moved on. As we all know the Chicago Mustangs have disbanded leaving 3 of my players without teams until a few minutes ago when I took them to my own team.

As you said, we'll have to wait and see. Still, if I was betting, I'd put my money on SI being right.

It just sucks that our team can be penalized in the future because Coachviking runs an awesome team

While I hate the fact that you guys are now the Evil Nightstangs, it definitely isn't fair that you be penalized for being good. It's not your fault if all these guys wanted to sign with you. Seriously, there isn't one owner in GLB that would turn down all these players if they wanted to sign w/ their team because "it's not right".

The strange thing is the guy that is complaining the most about this is one of the most aggresive recruiters in the game. As with every team in GLB our goal is to put the best team that we can on the field. I am lucky enough to have a good group of agents on Monmouth that aren't "stat whores" (except Drago with the TD title ). Guys who don't care about anything but winning and having fun.

Yet because we have put together a very sucessful team and people want to play here somehow we are being looked at as the poster child for what is wrong with GLB. It's not like I am giving out insane contracts like a Steinbrenner or offering flex points.

On the other hand we have never been the most PC team in the game and have never backed away from a fight so it looks like another season of Monmouth with a bullsey on it's back.

By the way, Evil Nightstangs was pretty funny.

I don't find anything wrong with the Monkeys, and certainly wouldn't agree with a penalty. The only thing I don't understand is why players don't want to try and "build" a winner, but instead grab onto the coattails of those that have already done it.

In fairness, the Boston players already won their championships. It is more like they took pity on the Evil Empire and decided to help them out. Not the other way around.
