Monmouth 38, Honolulu 31
Boston 31, Cincinnati 34 <---I have to pick us...it's against the law to pick against your own team.

I have to go with the Warriors, since if you listen to TSE and many on DDL, it's absolutely impossible to beat a team that doesn't play "in the spirit of the game," whatever the hell that is.

Now Boston/Shockers is a tough one...Boston has historically only won because they don't play "in the spirit of the game," but have been lately, though I suspect now they're passing more than the game's spirit would prefer. On the flip side, the Shockers obviously rubbed their collective asses in "the spirit of the game's" face by featuring their HB, and everyone knows that's impossible to stop.

Under normal circumstances, I'd be at a complete loss to pick a winner here. Thankfully, when discussing the DDL/Philly regular season game earlier, TSE PMed me a formula for calculating "Spirit of the Game" like stuff (100% no BS, he honestly did and told me I could post his formula, if I wanted to).

Applying his formula to the best my memory can recall, Boston will always have a higher "not in the spirit of the game" ranking than anyone else that controls a team made up by more agents than they have. That is even somehow true if the single player team has players that aren't as high lvled as Boston or are just shitty builds. For some reason, if you either get in the game late or suck at player building, your "Spirit of the Game" Index isn't so bad, but that's another story for another time. The point is that TSE's formula says the Boston's "spirit of the game" index is horrid and much worse than any other team in USA Pro. So, I have to go with Boston. Sorry, Shockers. Guess that'll teach ya for not more heavily stacking the deck on the "spirit of the game formula."

Now, who will win the Gold? I'm afraid that both Boston and the Wangs are so low on the Spirit Index that it's simply impossible to tell.

I'm interested in this spirit of the game formula. You're allowed to post it? I want to see it

If a Mod says it's OK, sure thing...A little fuzzy on the rules regarding that when given the senders permission.

Edit: BTW, I'm just poking TSE a little with this...No disrespect intended at all, just a little fun. I enjoy messing with TSE (and Tpat) and they're pretty damn decent in the way they take it...A Merry Xmass hats off to both of ya for that.

Should be a lot of fun tomorrow. The final two no matter who it is will be a freaking war.

I was tangently applauding PPs post using a movie quote. Replace "H2O" with "post".

I'm sorry.

Well since I never learnt to count, that makes fore of us.

Thoughts on three of the four semifinalists being 'new guys'?

I'm not shocked. Even though Harper thought he was going to "bend us over", it seems that he received the bending this season. USA PRO is full of solid teams and the new blood worked their butts of to get here and were a bit hungrier.
