Upsets are completely understandable but the fashion that South Georgia, Seattle and Appalachian were beat is just completely unrealistic. I am not trying to take anything away from the Devils because I feel they are a strong well run team but 55-19 is absurd. Appalachian lost 55-28 and Seattle lost 54-17. Are all 3 of us really 4+ touchdown inferiors. That's just my opinion, I am not crying foul play by the victorious teams at all but I think shame on GLB, it awfully strange for 3 teams that went through the season virtually untouched to get not beaten but completely destroyed in the playoffs.

I dont agree with the losses, but then again, I am on one of the losing teams. We all got beaten by good teams, that we should have beaten. But, we didn't.

I want to say its a problem with the sim, but its probably just good gameplanning and builds by the winners. They earned it.

JMO, and I'm not writing off yours btw

Well you beat us 38-34 in the 1st matchup and won because we couldn't stop your pass rush. This time we won the chess match with moving DE's and OT's and took away alot of the pressure. You guys hurt yourself with turnovers as you had 4 with one of them being returned for a TD. Also, we had a punt return for a TD. If there were server errors than I can't believe that it only affected one team and not both.

Yeah I hear ya they did all earn it and I really want to make it clear that I am not trying to take anything away from the teams that won but I have a major concern with the scores, shouldn't round 2 of the playoffs have 1 close game!

Maybe the regular season was the aberration.

I think Appalachian know why they lost and by such a margin.. and it wasn't the sim's fault. My guess is that they forgot to change something and had the wrong settings.

I have no idea why South Georgia lost.. but I think you should scout your own game and then tell us why rather than jump to conclusions. You obviosuly don't know enough about Appalachian or Rutgers to have included that game as supporting evidence in your complaint.

You know, just because I dislike those that yell "foul play" when they lose a game that they should have...I'll post a small sample of how Minneapolis Masterminds gameplan was effective.

As the DC, I noticed that Seattle uses quite a bit of pitch running plays out of the I formation. So, I implemented the DE contain defensive play to contain those pitch plays against the I formation. Here is the best example in our game, although there are a few others where it was successful: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=285908&pbp_id=12470969

Now, not saying that I didn't expect a close game by Seattle...but thats the way the cookie crumbles on GLB. I don't know how effectively Seattle gameplanned against us at all, but I do know that both of our offensive and defensive coordinators have gameplanned and watched WAY more game films than we have all season long this past week. Sorry your team got beat, but you could at least be somewhat respectful to those teams that pulled out the upset.

I think Seattle is a quality team with some quality owners. None of them have came on here crying "bad sim", although I'm sure they are just as disappointed as you are.

My playbook, Defense and Offense changes from earlier today... like 4PM are all still in there. Depth Chart too.

And Minneapolis.. just before your post I posted in my game plan thread for your game that we can expect to see a well designed game plan out of you. I told people to completely forget the 2nd game of the season.

We know you are going to have something special for us... as we will for you.

I don't know b/c I let the OC and DC do all the game planning. But if yours wasn't in than ours wasn't in either. So you don't think your 4 turnovers and allowing a PR for a TD had anything to do with the score outcome???? If there was something that let the underdogs win than LaCrosse should have lost as well.

Yes, as I said in my post I added a few specific plays for Seattle. I saw those plays in our replays. Are you sure your AI was setup right, because that sure sounds like the problem to me...

Hmm.. maybe last nights downtime or today's outage did something if you changed your settings at a specific time. But as I said, I saw none of that in my plans/settings.

MHKL for giving us a rematch.I hope my team is that weak.I'll get to stay here another year!

Look superstar, congratulations on your win but DE contain is not the difference in an undefeated team getting beat by 4 touchdowns to a team that they beat by 20 earlier in the season. I never once stated that any of the underdogs did not have the ability to beat their opponent, I am questioning the score differential.

Dawg if you lost 38-34 would you feel better? I know we were depressed when we lost to you that 1st time and didn't think we deserved to. Let's go back to our 1st matchup in which you won 38-34. You had 546 total yards with 3 big TD's of 72.5, 51 and 76 yds. That's 200 yds of offense from 3 plays. You had 11 sacks and 13 hurries against us. This game you have 444.5 yards total offense and no big plays. You guys did have 4 turnovers with a big turnover in our end zone on 1st and goal from the 4. Also, you only had 2 sacks and 3 hurries this game and allowed a return TD. I can see why the score was the way it was.
