what do i need to do to get on a user team here? i posted in the forum under players looking for teams and i put out an ad on the marketplace. still nothing.

When new teams are released you will get offers.
I am on the wait list myself, but don't know for sure what level cap my team will have. The people that know what their level cap will be(low on the list, with desired settings) likely have commitments from players already.

You'll get plenty of offers come the offseason. Mid season is always slow, and late season is pretty bad. Season ends day 40, you'll be signed by day 45 at the absolute latest.
