I shifted my DE to LDE after spending his a few seasons building strictly as a pass rusher. I've been trying to adjust his build as a run stopper, but I just don't see much production. He draws double teams on occasion which is great, but too often the HB can slide right by him when he is engaged in a block against one O-lineman. He is also much less effective at rushing the passer than he once was.

Any advice on how to focus his improvement would be appreciated. I have focused Strength for the last season and still don't see him getting off the block.

Strength: 63.18 (74.18)
Speed: 66.04 (73.04)
Agility: 56.09 (64.09)
Tackling: 51.33
Vision: 49.33
Jumping: 28.18
Confidence: 20.64
Blocking: 20.34

Containment Abilities
22211
Pass Rusher Abilities
65543

Agility is still a huge part of being able to stop the run (it's what will get you off the block more often than not), you just don't need 90+ like you do for pass rushing. I'd move everything you have in speed over to agility, try it out, and then tinker with the equipment distribution between strength and agility.
