Every now and then I check in on the A#4 league we were relegated from and it really pisses me off to see that they have gutted and CPU teams (8 or 9) playing in that league. We fought like hell to stay up there, even though we would have surely gotten royally kicked by some teams, but got demoted. I don't know why they allowed gutted and CPU teams to remain and didn't relegate them and either deselect us or promote more teams. The second point is that there are at least 6 or more teams here better than us right now that could easily compete in that league. However, only a couple of teams get promoted and only a couple of teams get demoted so that will leave 6-7 of the 8-9 undeserving teams remain up while 4-6 really good teams here get held down. That's frigged up and needs to be remedied.

I think our team needs another couple of seasons to fine tune and grow and develop our stadium, but some of you guys are ready now.

They'll bump up people and drop those teams after the season.

I like how they are doing that now, should make it a lot more fun and keep the leagues a bit mroe competitive.

My first year to own a team and all I can say is that the top 4 (or even 6) on this league are really really strong. If these guys get promoted next season, congrats and go get 'em over there!

The frustrating part of it is that only the bottom couple get dropped and only the top couple go up. In our old division there are clearly 6-8 teams that shouldn't be in that league as they are gutted and CPU teams in rebuilding stage and really there are at least 6-8 teams here that could compete very well in that league right now. It needs a major rebalancing. But I'm sure that this isn't the only league that this si happening in.

It's very possible that they went CPU just this season, and since they don't hand out teams during the season anymore (only in the offseason), there should be a fresh set of owners for those teams come season 7.

and they will be moved to the bottom tier.

the CPU teams stadiums & finances are reset, then sent to the bottom tier.

That's good, evens out the playing field. Problem with this is that some of the new owner of this teams would go out and hire level 30+ players (which I hope they don't) and hope that they win (which I believe they will do). Either these teams suck like mine this season or they go belly up again or they choose the long path to success via building from bottom up (which I'm trying to do).

That's a hard road to take, but as one who took a team and built it from the bottom up, Let me tell you it feels GREAT when you finally get things rolling the right way. Ain't easy, takes time.......but it's damn well worth it.The challenge of building a team is one of the things I love most about GLB.

Its hard work but chriscuster is 100% right. I took over the Heat with 6 games to go in season 2. We won 3 games in season 2 and with some hard work and some great player agents we have built what you see today. A team that is 13-2 and yes, it does feel great when your hard work pays off.

I hope my team gets there too in a couple of seasons. Looking at my team's first win, I think we're headed in the right direction.

Just stick with it. If any of the guys on the team think it can't be done, you've got a couple examples of it being done to point at and show them it can.

look at my assassins BBB7.....chris was on that team when i inherited it...they were winless.....i had no stadium, not even any seat upgrades and 1.5 million......i traded 80% of my roster for cash (sorry chris).......now i'm finacially set...and it's not even been 3 full seasons

for any reset teams....the key is build your stadium. <------period

then you'll have freedom to compete in 3 seasons.

Freddy had a no trade clause! lol I was there the first season. Man, that is a GREAT example. That team was a mess.

And you're right, getting that stadium built asap is a huge priority.
