I mean training it when your at a high level and the easy stuff's been done.
It's just something rarely discussed and i'm curious about others input on the subject.

How often does your HB block, and how does he perform when he does?

Unless you are in an offense with specialized needs, it seems like a weak proposition compared to the many other needs of a HB.

A powerback can get away with just strength for blocking, but others may want to train it. It makes a goood pairing with strength on intense training.

My elusive HB blocks pretty often for a double HB backfield we'll run and he pins LBs down w/ having never training blocking and capped strength.

If the offense REAAALLY needs more blocking have the OC put a package in where the FB1 (or FB2?) is a G or OT
