I'm thinking of creating a power rushing QB. Would it work? It would be sweet cause I have never seen one before.

i suppose anything COULD work, doesnt mean it WILL though. what was your build idea anyways? why not just make a power HB and throw em at QB on the depth chart, or are you still planning on throwing the ball?

Yeah, I want him to be able to throw and run

you will still need speed and agility. Also power backs need strength in the high 80s or 90s to be effective in the higher levels. You willing to get strength that high on your QB? At level 30, 60 strength doesn't really help break any tackles, so i wouldn't think it would help a QB break tackles.

My QB is somewhat of a power rushing QB, but not a pure rushing QB. Works better scrambling out of the pocket than it does for the set QB rushing plays. Good for short yardage situations, run the I form inside QB run, will usually get a couple yards.

strength helps the throwing game too so I cant see why somewhere around 70 to 80 strength would be a bad idea.

Really? What if it's a CB with 20 strength and 20 tackling?

I'm trying to decide which route to take my QB - agility or power. Power seemed to make more sense as I'll already have at least 50 strength...but maybe not?

You wouldn't be able to get power thru. Unless you find a piece of ae, max upgrade it. it might work.

by level 30, teams are so fast that the broken tackle against the 20 strength 20 tackling corner would slow you down where a LB would tackle you before you gain 3 more yards. Well built power backs should stop rushing outside by level 30.

Okay how about this.

Assume a QB has lots of speed, and soft-capped strength and agility. Would it be more beneficial for him as a runner to take strength or agility to the second cap?

id go agility. 60 strength wouldnt break many tackles, agility would help you use your speed better

Strength. Strength helps you throw it better, while agility isn't super important beyond the first/second cap. I'd say get strength up to the second cap, followed by agility, then get more strength our try to balance out your other skills.

Since you're a QB you'll want a decent amount of vision/throwing/tight spiral regardless because you still need to pass.

there is not way your going to have a complete throwing QB and a complete rushing QB.

Do you know how long it would take to just first soft cap throwing, vision, strength, agility and speed and have a decent amount of confidence and stamina while maintaining good SAs?

You'll need to pick either rushing or throwing, I wouldn't worry about attributes that help both.

Attributes that help both are basically worth twice as much for a rushing QB, because they still need to pass. I don't care what kind of offense you run, QBs have to be able to pass to some extent. Since we can't specifically sub in different QBs for different plays right now, a 2 QB system with one rushing and one passing QB won't work.

strength is not going to help a QB run as it's just not logical for a qb to run around with 90 strength and they don't have the power SAs that really set apart power backs, so it is not worth twice as much.

Find any rushing QB with decent passing stats or any passing qb with decent rushing stats. There is a reason for this, there aren't enough sps to go around. You either put a rushing QB in and don't pass or put a passing qb in and not run with him. You can't have the best of both worlds, so no those attributes aren't worth twice as much.

Then how would I make a good rushing QB?
