By all means please tell me if I have missed a likely outcome, tried to do my best.

1st Seed Contenders – Black Watch, Paris Philharmonic

Black Watch was able to get past two very gtough opponents in AWC and FTA and with the loss by Paris to Wujax clinch the overall #1 seed as they own the tiebreaker with Paris.

2nd Seed Contenders – Paris Philharmonic, London Minotaurs, London Monarchs, Woodridge Lumberjacks.

Now it gets exciting, 4 teams are vying for the #2 seed. Paris obviously has the inside track having lost 1 less game then the other 3. Paris’s next game will probably be the deciding game as they face the Minotaurs who at this time own the tie breaker over the Monarchs and Woodridge. Paris’s last game is against a steadily improving E-city but I do not believe they can beat a focused Paris. Monarchs probably have the toughest remaining schedule of the 4 as both Woodridge and the Minotaurs get Toledo (which is also an advantage from a scouting and planning perspective).

If Paris wins their next one I expect them to get the #2 seed, If the Minotaurs win they would get the #2. Unfortunately for the Minotaurs a loss here may propel them out of a home playoff game.

My prediction is Paris as the #2 Seed.

3rd Seed Contenders – London Minotaurs, London Monarchs, Woodridge Lumberjacks.

The projected (by me) Minotaur loss to Paris knocks them out of the Race for the #2 seed as they would need either London or Wujax to lose 1 of their next 2 and while the Monarch’s could as they face 2 opponents fighting for their playoff lives, Wujax has the equivalent of 2 games to get ready for Wembley. The Monarchs hold the head to head with Wujax with their 37-13 win in game 5. (Note while Berlin and Stuttgart could potentially end up in a tie with these teams records-wise, Berlin does not hold the tie break on any of them and Stuttgart loses the Tie break to Wujax)

My prediction is Monarchs as the #3 Seed.

4th Seed Contenders – London Minotaurs, Woodridge Lumberjacks.

All Based on the above analysis, again Stuttgart is a contender here if things went to hell in a hand-basket but their loss to Wujax in Week 9 makes it impossible.

My prediction is Wujax as the #4 Seed.

5th Seed Contenders – London Minotaurs, Berlin Blitkrieg, Stuttgart Nighthawks

The only way for either Berlin or Stuttgart to have a shot at the 5th seed is for London to lose to a CPU team….sorry guys. If this occurred Stuttgart has the more favorable final 2 games against Chicago and Carthage while Berlin faces Black Watch next.

My prediction is London Minotaurs as the #5 Seed.

6th – 8 th Seed Contenders –Berlin Blitkrieg, Stuttgart Nighthawks, Dinas Mawddwy Red Bandits, Fightin Texas Aggies,, Wembley Warriors

Good Stuff in the 6th – 8th Seeds. 1st lets look at the head to heads and remaining games:

*Berlin (8-6) – The only team in this group they lost to was the Aggies, Faces Black Watch (13-1) and Lake Charles (4-10)
*Stuttgart (8-6) – Losses to Wembley and Berlin, Faces Carthage (1-13) and Chicago (4-10)
*DWR (7-7) - Losses to Berlin and Stuttgart, Faces AWC (5-9) and Black Watch (13-1)
*FTA (7-7) – Losses to Berlin, Stuttgart and DWR, Faces Lake Charles (4-10) and Monarchs (10-4)
*Wembley (7-7) – Losses to DWR, Berlin and FTA, Faces Monarchs (10-4) and Woodbridge (10-4)

What is interesting is that none of these teams play each other! The teams at 8-6 can lock in 6 and 7 if they win out and Stuttgart seems to have the best chance of doing that. Assuming Berlin goes 1-1 the only team that could overtake them by winning out would be the Aggies since the are the only one to own the tiebreaker over Berlin.

My prediction is Stuttgart as the #6 Seed.
My prediction is Berlin as the #7 Seed.

The 8th seed all comes down to matchups. Wembley has the toughest draw with 2 of the top 5 remaining. FTA appears to have the best chance to go 1-1 while DWR can also be reasonable expected to go at least 1-1. The head to head with FTA gives DWR the #8 seed with FTA and Wembley left to begin focusing on the next season.

AWC has a chance to make it a very difficult game 16 for DWR if they are able to pull off a victory….the Paris/Minotaur and AWC/DMR will be must watch games!!

Good luck to all

It was a good win for the Aggies today, got on a roll and we got absolutely no breaks on defence.

It was a strange game, no doubt. Just one of those where we got some breaks in the first quarter and things snowballed. We'll take the win of course but I bet if we played that game 20 more times we wouldn't see anything close to what happened today.

So only chance Red Bandits is going to playoffs is if they beat Black Watch and FTA loses? That's tough.

Yea I'd say 41-3 was pretty difficult.

Too bad AWC hit their stride late. I would've loved to have wreaked some havoc in the playoffs.
