I want him to be the best damn rushing fullback ever

Seems like the wrong idea to me. A FB is intentionally designed to block for the HB and QB. Any carries a FB gets are pure gravy. Build a power blocking FB adn do your team (and yourself) a favor.
*this is only an opinion, and should be taken with exactly one grain of salt.

He can be a "real" triple threat when he is a level 40+ maybe.
Best to make a power blocking FB but do not neglect Confidence or Carry or when you run you will be a fumble liability.

I agree. You aren't doing your team a favor. A rush play with FB leading> FB rushing almost 100% of the time.

While I agree with both of you whole heartedly (if my FB never touches the ball again, I'll be happy), a FB can be capable running as a backup HB. Not great long term(will be outclassed by a HB of similar levels), but capable.

FBs have their place. FBs almost always have more STR than any power backs (my level 21 FB has 82 strength) and in certain situations that can be beneficial. Plus FBs don't generally need a ton of blocking to be good blockers which frees up some SPs for use elsewhere.
You can make a decent running FB and play them as like 2nd or 3rd string HB, backup HB, and a backup TE. It's a very versatile position.

Almost, but not always...one of my teams has a FB/HB pair(similar levels), where the HB has a lot more strength, while the FB is faster than him. Just something that's been odd to me all season.
