This is Tim Harper's Level 23 WR that he is slowbuilding at the moment. Figured I would see what you guys think thus far in his slow climb up to wide receiver stardom.

Agility: 50.75
Jumping: 21.2
Catching: 25.2(Currently Training)

Vision: 18.2
Confidence: 20.88

Definitely will be a beast in a couple seasons...Grade: A-

Only points off is that the WR is not getting enough plays to get full experience each game...

How did you level your speed? Did you aim for 5th cap for speed right away?

I put a suggestion to do something about super, duper slow building. I remembered you saying you were slow building some guys like this without game experience and to be honest I thought your player would be further along after almost 3 seasons.

It's a nice looking build, but it's top heavy in speed. Still have work to do to turn him into a real threat at WR since his his secondary skills are so low.

I would have thought catching would at least be soft capped by now, and your carrying and jumping still need a lot of work but great start for sure.

But not everyone can build like this. You have to have a sugar daddy team to pull it off, so only a select few have the option.

Unfortunately, he could have been be around level 27 by now with max XP. Interesting build as a speed specialist... while he'll probably never be the best WR1/WR2, he's a good threat to force teams to gameplan for and to help out as KR/PR.

Don't forget to work carrying for a guy with a build like that -- should be able to do amazing things with the ball in his hands!

Actually he is getting game xp, just on special teams now. Next season I will more then likely inject him into the lineup as a 4th/5th WR or move him to a team for a season so he can start training up his secondaries.

I am trying my best to make use of the training much as possible. Agility was trained to 35 before points went into it. I am going to be doing that with the other support skills, since I am big on getting use out of training while you can.

I could of easily went for a more balanced build at WR, but I don't need him to be game ready for another season or so.

Well he is on pace for level 27 by end of season. About where my HB Greg Alstott was at after 3 seasons. I haven't boosted him yet and won't till the last day of offseason. So he is on pace to reach the same level as my Day 1 guys here when XP was much easier to gain. I have missed out on some game xp, but it isn't near as much as your making it out to be. This is the only season well he has really been taking less then max xp and I did the math, it comes out to 379 xp lost this season. Not a whole ton in the grand scheme of things.

Yes, that was the goal. I was shooting by level 40 he have an insane amount of speed. I wanted a pure speed threat WR, so that is what I shot for. If I don't put any more points into speed from here on out and let him gain his attribute increases to level 40, he will be at 83.77 natural speed. That would be 113 speed with max equip on at level 40, which was what I was shooting for.

Hopefully now that I am done with speed, I can focus on other things.

Did you single train agi or used intense training with another skill. I'm trying to figure out which is better. Trying to aim agi to soft cap as fast as possible with training or get the extra SP from +5 boost.

Intense is the better route to go, but I believe single training agility with small training bonus is close behind.

Isn't VISION important for a speedy WR??

And I don't understand this slow building... 1 catch for 12 yards for season 6??

Look at the team he is on. Look at the players on that same team. Also, his goals are not for short term. What you see now is still an unfinished product. Vision is not something that has to be high. He aims for caps. Hit 5th cap with speed, then soft cap agi, then soft cap catching. That way he takes full advantage of natural gains from leveling.
