I'm not saying this is like the new Strong I HB Off Tackle as I've only used it a few times so far, but after what I've recently seen I thought I had to post this.

I have the Single Back HB Slam set to quite a low percentage on my team so it's very rarely ever run. I recently removed a play from ouur AI and raised the % chance of the HB Slam and in our past few games it's been run 3 times and all 3 of them went for big TDs!

(Unbeaten AA team that out levelled us)

I also recently started running on combo so that may have possibly helped on these plays. Oh, and the 10 Quick Cut probably helped too!

I will definitely try it out next game. I expect to lose the next one since we are a big underdog, but maybe this will help swing the game in our favor

Of the 3 best USA Pro teams, I think Monmouth of USA pro likes that play. They have some passing plays that they use off of that as they have great WR depth.

Honolulu and Boston favor the off tackle from the I.

i have a back like yours who cant run with a full back because he is just to fast. spreading the field like that and then letting him go could be fun. thanks for the post. time to go to the playbook

were you running on elusive before? 10 quick cut is spectacular.

It's more about gameplanning. I mean as you can see, they have more of a reason to abandon the middle when they see Single Back. My team has a high speed HB like Devin and we like to use him on Single Back for outside runs. Teams have caught up to that very quickly, so we're thinking of sending him up the middle on Single Back, just need the O-line to man up and win 1v1.

For our team if they abandon the middle with use the HB Slam above, if they leave LBs in the middle we use the "Wildcat" HB at QB rushing right:

and if they're even prepared for that and blitz a CB we rush left:

I might try a game just playing Single Back and use the WR Screen, HB Slam, "Wildcat" etc. You can't shutdown everything.

Yeah, it's definitely a good play because of how everyone likes to blitz off the weakside. Teams with good linebackers and NT/DT can stop it though. If they ever make defensive linemen with good strength be able to stuff the run again, it might take a hit to its effectiveness.

Works very well. I was just scouting our next opponent and they run HB slam Just as effective as they do strong I off tackle.

I am definitely making that one a high percentage in my play book

Bump for a new season.

The defense unfortunately for them, took off the ROLB and put the MLB in man coverage leaving the middle wide open. My HB just made 1 guy miss then just ran in a straight line:

It works as long as they dont bring the ss up.

We have had some good success with it and I brought it back in last season to give our fb some rest.

Good teams can stop it easly if they plan for it.

yeah, but most input some kind of 4-2 nickle or even a dime against 3 WR sets, so that loose middle is great for the slam.
