The following games all have playoff implications. Who do you think will win? Why?

In the west:
Jacktown Smackdown (10-2) at Kansas City Royal Chiefs (10-2)
San Francisco Stonecutters (8-4) vs. Miramar Leathernecks (7-5)

In the east:
Syracuse Souls (11-1) at Colonial Zoners (9-3)
Cleveland Firebirds (6-6) at Chicago LMG Accountabillibuddies (5-7)

Jacktown - Kinda have to be a homer, but they were unexpectedly tough against Freedom and they've a few nail biters. I'm still not convinced that KC has proven itself against equal or better competition.

San Francisco Stonecutters (8-4) vs. Miramar Leathernecks (7-5)
They both struggle in closely matched games, but I'll give the edge to Miramar, only because I work one exit No0rth from the former NAS Miramar, currently occupied by the Marines.

In the east:
Syracuse Souls (11-1) at Colonial Zoners (9-3)
With Freedom having played both, I have to give it to Syracuse. Our game with them was close than the score indicates.

Cleveland Firebirds (6-6) at Chicago LMG Accountabillibuddies (5-7)
I have to go with Cleveland, LMG seems too disinterested.

WTF NO ONE HAS ANY OPINIONS...

My take:

Jacktown vs. KC - These teams have even records and even scouting bars. After scouting KC, I feel like their strengths play against our weaknesses. I am afraid that they will pick up a win and pick up home field advantage in the playoffs.

San Francisco vs. Miramar - Miramar has a worse record, but SF has fallen against evenly matched opponents. Something seems off with SF's game planning. Miramar takes it in a close game.

Syracuse vs. Colonial - The new owner hasn't hurt Syracuse so far. As long as they can keep running their simplified playbook against unprepared opponents they should win. Syracuse will run away with this one, but they might stumble in the playoffs against teams that do their homework.

Cleveland vs. Chicago - Quick stat: 39/50. That is the amount of inactive players on Chicago's roster. Based on that alone I will give the nod to Cleveland in this game.

JACKTOWN over KC Not even going to be close

Probably Mirimar, cuz they have something going for them...an offense

Syracuse WAY over Colonial

And Chicago over Cleveland. They're better than you guys give them credit for. inactives dont neccessarily mean they owner cant work around it. Hes done pretty decent given the circumstances

SF is still in its slow build phase and so many of our players haven't reached their potential because of unspent points. I'll give the edge to Miramar this time around.

I have not had a lot of time to scout the West so I will offer my opinion on the East game

Given Cleveland is running with a number of CPU players on offense I don't see them scoring much and Chicago has shown they can put some points on the board so I am going to take LMG to win this game.

I will defer my pick on Syracuse/Colonial but I am sure everyone knows who I think is going to win that game

Ah found them.

1. San Jose Chupacabra - Just barely better than the Fire, the game between these 2 teams should be epic. K9 definitly went out and made some key upgrades

Yeah I was lucky enough to land some people in positions that were pit falls last season few seasons. It has been lack of depth that was our biggest achilles heel. This season we managed to fill the positions that I had lost and we pulled a major overhaul on the O-line. I'm feeling we are primed to finally take it all and "get to the next level," (pun intended). If we fail.....fuck...well I'll be down right embarrassed

Here's too some fun games and friendly ribbing!!

Good luck all,

K9

So what happened K9?

Not really a burn Duncan if you are aware of the changes to SJ.

If you really want to know, I lost both my OC and DC due to life outside of GLB (I mean have you seen Jake around??? did not think so) And I did not have the time to sit down and fix things. So we were stuck running a basic offense and defense, which was easy to plan against and we had zero scouting. So yeah, it cost us 3 games we should have won. After that I went out and solicited help, and I believe we are once again back on track. Any other questions?

That sucks. When my WR was on San Jose I was always amazed by the scouting and game planning that the GMs did.
