Forum > USA BBB Leagues > USA BBB #7 > Dynasty vs Nashville Isotopes
Link

This is a milestone game for the Dynasty. The Isotopes were the team we got our very first win ever against. (The Isotopes were once known as The Killer Rabbits of Caerbanog.) We also need a win to try to stay in the hunt for the final playoff spot in the West. It's Dynasty policy to not overlook any opponent, even ones with the record Nashville has, as we were there ourselves not so long ago. Two seasons ago, we got our first win on week 13, blowing out the Amish. This being week 13 of this season, we are keenly aware of what might happen. If anyone has respect for a rebuilding team, it's us. Should be a good game.

Wow, this is the first time I have visited the Forum. I own the Isotopes. We are a very young team as you can see. We only have one CPU player left and I think will get better each game. I have enjoyed playing in this league so far even though we have an awful record but that was expected. 90% of the team was level 1 one day 1 of the season and the other 10% were created along the way.

We are very proud that we gave up less than 80 to the last opponent that was 12 points better than us on the match up page. I think we have well built player even though they are young and low level.

Good luck guys. I am pretty sure you will stomp us but we are looking at how we improve more this year then if we win.

It will probably take a season or two, but you guys will get there. Just look how the Amish turned out. As I said, a couple of seasons ago they lost to US, and now they're tops in the West, and probably one of the better teams in all of GLB. So it definitely can be done, and has been done.

And I'm not just saying that because we have to play them on Tuesday.

they're gonna make us plow and put up barns after beatin the heck out of us today. probably dump out all our rum, too! darn amnish.

Hopin to hold them to 80 points, and score at least once. that's me goal.

You'll get there, Nashville. I got players on a team who were all level ones last season, and they're scorin on teams with high 40s/early 50s ratings now, and gettin close to the ones in late 30s and early 40s. gettin beat bad in some, but they do really well considering the level gap. you'll surprise a few teams next season, I bet.

Hell, we at RCR were the doormatts of the East a few short seasons ago. It takes time, but if you stick with it, you'll get there.

Well, our plan is to do very little FA pickups because we are all friends on the team. We might grab a few but the group that is there is pretty much it. That might hinder us a bit but we hope good builds equals decent team. We will see.

Honestly the biggest thing in this game is to keep a team together imo. The levels come with time, if you get good builds going and learn to scout and GP you'll be in good shape by level 35 or so.

The Killer Rabbits of Caerbanog was an awesome name. That is all.

What the crazy pink pooping pony said. Keeping the Team together has got to be the toughest part. If you can manage that you will start seeing your team elevate rather quickly to the top of the conference, then eventual league.

Fresno started out in season two with 2 wins, Season 3 was the same, All of us still completely out leveled due to our guys still just starting out, Season 4 Finally started to show our improvement winning 6 games, season 5 was our breakout year making the playoffs, though getting eliminated in the first round against Vikings. This year we are amoung the top teir of the West. The Road was tough but it is finally starting to work itself out.

I agree. The level gap closes to an almost imperceptible point fairly quickly if you can keep a good group together.

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. Sorry 'bout that BBG. We have a "run clock" function for when the game gets out of hand, but it's a 4th quarter thing.

No worries. I let someone on the team "experiment" with the Offensive game planning and that was a mighty failure.. I have turned this back over to the real coordinator. Sorry for the lack luster performance.

Yeah, no one is going anywhere on this team for about 3-5 seasons.
