I really thought we were in good shape at the end, driving down the field, milking the clock, till that INT. We learned a few things from this game and should be able to capitalize a bit more on our mistakes next time we face.

We weren't all that happy with our O's performance early on. Our D played well, but we expected to put more up on the board. There's plenty we can improve on after watching that one.
GG.

GG as always, Jed. Shut down my DE, but my LB decided to show up to the game for once in his place

Yeah it was a tough game and a pretty good game. Thanks though for not trying to completely nighthawk us!

Well, we varied our running more than they do, but we more or less did. I mean we threw 15 times, 6-7 of which were on our last offensive drive.

GG. I said it in another thread. Great players make great plays. I would say Keiaho's is what killed us but Nargul had a pick 6 also so I can't use that as an excuse.

How is that any different than what happened? I strongly suspect that madet0rder is joking and I'm not trying to be an ass here (though I'm most likely being one by default and I can live with that
), but for all the bitching about Boston, that some on Philly did last season and the little shots they take in general, how many times did they pass less than 16 times? Why don't we just take a look:
Season 6:
game 1 35 passes
game 2 36 passes
game 3 21 passes
game 4 12 passes (oh uh, there is 1 game they passed 4 less times than Philly, the team that's above using "exploits")
game 5 15 passes (oh uh, game 2, passing 1 less times than Philly, the team that's above using "exploits")
game 6 11 passes (oh uh, game 3, passing 5 less times than Philly, the team that's above using "exploits")
game 7 20 passes
game 8 22 passes
game 9 15 passes (oh uh, game 4, passing 1 less times than Philly, the team that's above using "exploits")
game 10 23 passes
game 11 26 passes
game 12 22 passes
It must be season 5 when they were horrendously exploiting the game!!!! Wait, no, they passed more than Philly did against DDL in 10 games during reg season that year. Obviously, it was the POs where they "exploited" the shit out of the game! Hummm, no, they passed more than Philly did in both their PO games that season.
Hummm, lets see. So, Boston passed more than Philly did against DDL 8 times and less 4 times this season. They passed less than Philly 6 times all of last season and 0 times in the POs last season. Get the damn rope. We need to string those exploit using @!#$ers from Boston up by their necks! Why, why in the name of God and all that's holy can't they be more like some on Philly, who (one in particular, and I'm not referring to madet0rder)complain about others using exploits, make posts how to stop the cheating @!#$ers, only to have their own team do it themselves when they want to and then act like their shit don't stink?!?!?!?!?!
After all, playing GL D and 1st & 2nd down like they did last season against GB (you, know, when GB used the exploit by running 28 times and passing 50), when even marginally decent CBs recover WAY too fast to blanket the WRs and aren't hardly ever burnt isn't an exploit...And when they did it against Boston, it was just because Boston was such exploiting snakes themselves. DDL this season? Well, I'm sure they were exploiting the game by using a balanced attack. Those #@$%ers!!!!!!!
BTW, the @%@! are strictly for dramatic effect and to amuse me. I am in no way, shape or form pissed. Actually, I was laughing through part of writing this. The present and past hypocrisy just amuses me and inspired me to write this. Philly has every right do what they want. It just cracks me up that tpat actually takes himself seriously and that Jed defended him over all this.

I just glanced and we've gone heavy run, heavy pass, and a fairly even split this season. So I'm guessing whatever you're complaining about above is pretty inaccurate.

I'm not complaining, Jed...It was an extremely sarcastic means of humoring myself, and point out that players that scream about other teams "exploiting the game" better not look too closely at themselves in the mirror. If they do they most likely won't always like what they see in their reflection.
I'm sure as hell not pretending to be holier than thou. After the GL D stunt last season, I'd gladly run OT on you guys every single play (in our reg season game, not in the PO), just to even the score, if I thought it'd work.

If I am understanding you correctly though, it is OK to "exploit" the game when you really want the win against an evenly matched opponent, so long as you don't in most other games? If you do that, it's then cool to bitch about other teams "exploiting" the game?
For what it's worth, I don't see running 50 times and passing 15-20 times as an exploit myself. That's what pure running teams do, just like pure passing teams often pass 50 times and only run 15-20 times. I never understood the issue, myself.
