What, in your experience, is the highest % pass play for 7-10 yards that you run?

Been dabbling a bit in OCing and was just curious what results you guys were getting.

Unfortunately, it's the truth.

If your O-Line isn't capable of getting 3+ every play with Strong I Off-Tackle, then you are not going to be able to do much since you are completely outmatched.

if that's how you want to defend against the Strong I, then i suggest you pray that the opposition runs the weakside slam or dive since that'll be the only thing that scheme will do anything

I copied a defense from another team I was on for that game, little did I know the owner had completely screwed it up before I done so. Ah well...
For clarification, he turned off the SS blitz because he doesn't like them.

Also, 2 of the top 3 teams in that league run that play 90% of the time. You don't think there's possibly any correlation?

And if it's such an easily shutdown play, how come you guys run it so much? You can attack a few defensive calls all you want, but the fact that you guys run it so much, and other top teams in our league run it nearly as much as you do, something must be wrong? You honestly can't argue that it isn't overpowered, when you run it every play.

I've kinda given up with that team this season...for the most part we are extremely underleveled, and some questionable builds on defense. Was more the principal that someone was lame enough to run 2-3 plays the entire game.

thats why you also have to mix it up with a decent amount of proset medium passes and dives
