Question...Do we let people vote for their own players? What about players on their own team?

What if we said that an agent can NOT vote for players on their own team. But, an Owner can vote for 3 players on their own team?

Or do we just let people vote and hope everyone try's to pick the best players not just their own?

Are you saying we are voting too early or are you saying we just consider games through the mid point of the season?

If you are saying we are voting too early, considering the season is over in 9 actual days, we probably should get this going right away if we want to get enough participation to make it worth it.

If it is the other, take everything into account to when you vote.

I'd say it's still a bit too early to vote though...

That's what I mean. As an example, my team plays one of the other top the teams the last week, so we have an edge over someone who has already played all of the top teams...

I think each team should get a ballot and can't vote for their own players. The owner submits the ballot and can either choose as he sees fit or get imput from his GMs.

Lastseason the all star voting was rigged.

I think its too early. Seattle still has yet to play Lakeland, and I think everyone knows thats a guarenteed ~400 yards, 10 TDs that would help me in the ballot

This is a good idea, if someone has time to put a ballot together.

Its just a matter of all the ballots being emailed to one person and then deciding how to do it.

May I suggest for each award we simply list our top three candidates in order and then scoring them on a 3-2-1 point system.

I can handle collecting the ballots and accumulating the points if no one minds.

We could decide if playoffs should be considered as part of it, if not ballots should be emailed before the first playoff game and winners can be announced after the championship.

I think the proposal I put forth in the previous post would prevent any ballot stuffing.

Our conference is not very active in the forums, and if it wasn't for dfoke we would really be bad. If we do vote it may only be the usual 5-6 teams participating.

My idea is one ballot per team, submitted by owner (he can either submit it on his own or get input from his GMs and or players) The team can not cast a vote for its own players. Each award gets voted a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and then pointed on on a scoring table of 3-2-1.

I think it should be for regular season only, thus ballots should be due by a certain time on the day between the regular season finale and playoff opener.

If this is aggreable I can PVT message this to all the owners in the conference.
