After a promising 17-3 victory over the Pennsylvania Lions in game one, the Jagged Shoals looked to solidify themselves as a top team in the newly established USA CCC League. Jumping from 5th after game 1 to 1st place after game 2, the Shoals are yet to allow a touchdown after game 2's 24-3 win over the Cleveland Greyhounds in the home opener. Star RB Fred Jackson led the team with 107 yds in 23 carries on the ground and a touchdown, adding two catches for 8.5 yds. Backup Packin Wang also had a solid game tallying 70.5 yds on 15 rushes with a touchdown and one catch for 6 yds. The team managed to run for 289.5 yds on the game. The Shoals have struggled to find their identity in the passing game, but the up and coming WR Roscoe Parrish made his debut, catching one ball for 9.5 yds. The Shoals have added a lot of talent on defense after the game and look to continue their dominance, allowing Cleveland to just 22.5 yds on the ground and only 67 in game one. William Perry emerged as a foundation of the front 4 notching his second sack in as many games, which leads the league, also with 11 tackles on the season.
