I have 3 slow build WRs. In reviewing a recent match, I noticed a receiver with better stats than me. Luckily, he had his stats open so I could compare the 2. At level 8, he had tons more yardage, tds and a better catch to drop ratio. I realize at low levels many things determine performance but i have invested nothing in SA and he had possesion branch nearly maxed with 5 in a couple of SA.

Might this be a fluke or am I building incorrectly or will we all eventually even out in about 10 levels? If I'm waiting to invest in special abilities, does the development strategy change in regards of where to put them?

When do you invest in SAs?

Who cares what someone is doing at level 8. You put points into SA's when you are done capping shit.

+1 when those players, adding SAs, get to level 20 no one will want them and your player with no SAs will dominate. 20+ is when you want to add SAs

That's the opinion I took when I created my wrs. I just started second guessing myself when I saw the stats.

No need, Daddy? I would assume at some point they wouldn't be bad. My 3 WRs look similar no but once the majors are soft-capped, they will start training on other things and branch off. I would think SAs at some point would help.

Don't really need them.
You will perform spins without spin, you'll perform good cuts without quick cut, you will run perfect routes without route running, and you will get the first step without first step.

I'd say to put points into them when you're desperate for something to raise but everything else is far too expensive, and I do mean everything.

I wouldnt say no need. After you have speed and agility to where you feel comfortable then putting a couple into first step and quick cut will really help him get open

my opinion...no SAs before season 5 of the player...much more valuable to work on base stats initially...

and I do kind of agree that you really never need them but at some point I do think they provide "bang for the buck"

Ive never seen someone make a good quick cut like a back with SA"s in quick cut. SAme with route run. I have 7 in route run now and it looks like my guy is on train tracks.
