I'm hoping it's a turkey induced coma that's causing our boards to be empty, cause otherwise the 15 is in trouble. Here's some picks for the east

South Texas vs Jumbo Jets - who knows how good (or bad) these teams are? Most of us write it off as a stat padder. I'm giving the edge to the Jets, even without Favre. 35-30 Jets over Texas

Detroit vs K&B Purples - Detroit hit a slump, while K&B would like to speed up their exit from the 15. One thing I know is K&B can put up points, and they do it again here. 48-35 K&B over Detroit

SWBM vs Gulf State - game of the night, if not the season. My pre-season #1 and #2 going at it. I've seen Gulf States D up close, and it's ready for the next level. Scranton's no slouch either, but I'm giving this turkey to the south, deep fried style. 24-21, Gulf State over Scranton

Michigan Rage vs Miami Makos - will anyone other than Miami look at the box score? I didn't think so. 150 (minimum)- 3(maximum) Miami over Michigan

Miami Hammerheads vs Houghton Gremlins - a coming of age test for Houston. A win shows they belong with the top teams and should host a playoff game. A loss and they'll start looking at season 7. 30-21 Miami over Houghton

Las Vegas vs Akron - has the Akron owner logged back on since his players contracts expired? Las Vegas doesn't care, so they run the score up. 58-21 Las Vegas over Akron

Memphis vs State of Texas - another yawner, except for Memphis players looking to jack up the stats. 150-3 Memphis over State of Texas (won't be stunned with a 255-0 score)



Sorry westerners, I had some knowledge of the old teams, but I'm clueless with the new look west.

Has to be, i know we just got home tonight so i've been MIA for a few days.

WOW!!! not even 20 points scored in the whole game..
Gremlins you def gave us a fight..a true smash mouth game..This was a true game..it was great to play against a tough opponent as you guys...very nice game..well played from both sides gl the rest of the way
I would look the rest of the teams on the Gremlins schedule..they will be looking to take this disappointing loss out on somebody

I know...we had TWO turnovers that were in your end zone. I also cannot stand mid-season changes to the coverage. Traveling and not seeing the change to coverages pissed me off. Don't know if it would have mattered but usually our D can force a couple TO's. If we weren't at a -4 we may have had a chance lol.

I find that the turn overs in the closer games are way out of line! I agree that death valley and our game both were determined more by that than the game I was watching. Good going anyway. we will be covered in pine tar and stickum next game to ensure a victory
