Yea i know the title was gay.

Okay ive heard of guys with teams signing a player and dropping him so that he only picks up XP from the daily XP and using the signing bonus to train. But i dont have a team and was just going to leave my lvl 1 on FAs for the rest of the season not training or doing anything to him. So thus his training pts. would build up and he would have some SAs.

What do you guys think of this?

it'll take a butt load of time. i'd do it only till lvl 8 max! otherwise you'll just waste away doing nothing

I have my own team so it easy for me to super slow build players.
You start with enough money to train every day for the rest of the season. But if you want to carry on super slow building next season as well, here's what to do:

Keep training as a free agent, but as soon as the regular season ends and the playoffs start, accept a contract to a CPU team. You won't be getting any XP from games but you will be building up your money for the next season. Then on day 40 you need to find a team to sign you to an end on day 40 contract (basically a 1 day contract), the team won't lose any money or XP. So you'll once again be a free agent able to just train for another season.

Remind me about this at the end of the season and I may be kind and sign your player for 1 day on day 40 and give him a bonus to make sure he has enough money to train next season.

Thanks that sounds good. My plan was to just super slow build saving up training pts and sps till next season or the playoffs. like you said.

You can't save your training points for too long, as the max amount you can have is 14.

What are you thinking the advantage would be of a super slow build? My guess is then your player would be a lot better than other players at a similar level?

Thinking about it more: You would train up while leveling really slowly w/o boosting. Then at some point you would sign on a team start boosting and building? And effectively be way better than other players at your same level?

Wont players regress after a certain number of seasons? Like an aging player? Then you'd just be a low level old guy.
