I just made a Strong Safety. This is my first time playing a SS.

Thus being said, what are the tactics that I should use to get the absolute best out of the SS?

It depends on the team you are playing for along with their tactics and builds, along with the opposing team's tactics and builds, and your own build. It starts with your own build. If your player has a lot of speed and agility you would do things differently than if you are loaded with strength and jumping or else jumping and catching.
