1. Florida 8-0. This team looks better every week. They still have a few tough games left on their schedule but they have a legitimate shot to run the table. Their week 11 showdown with undefeated Rochester could be one of the best games of the season.

2. Rochester 8-0. Rochester continues to roll with a blowout of Atlanta. They have some of tht top teams left on their schedule including games against Florida, Yancy, Port Moody and Teikoku, so they'll need to step up to the challenge to prove they belong on top.

3. Yancy Street 7-1. After thrashing the Bronx Yancy has cemented itself as a title contender. Of the top 3 teams, they have the hardest road ahead of them with Florida, Reno and Rochester on the horizon. They need big games against those opponenents to prove they are more than a team that can beat up mid tier competition.

4. Reno 5-3. Though sitting at 5-3, only a fool would look past the Knights as one of the clear cut top teams in the East. After a thrashing of Orlando the Knights have a bye week next week against Hartford and then host the 7-1 Reapers in a much anticipated game not only for Reno, but for untested Yancy as well.

5. Teikoku 5-3. The Alexanders have won 5 games in a row and will likely make it 6 next week against Emmaus. Their game against Florida the week after would be the game of the week if Reno wasn't facing Yancy. The Alexanders are rolling.

6. Port Moody 6-2. Port Moody beat a scrappy Victoria team to improve to 6-2 and they still own the #4 and final home playoff spot. They've got a big game when Bronx visits The House of Pain next week, and they need a win there to prove they belong. Now is the time for them to step up and earn that home playoff spot.

7. Thundertown 6-2. Thudertown moves up a spot after taking down Hartford and winning 2 in a row to bounce back from their back to back losses. They've got Yancy and Port Moody the next two weeks and need to come up with a win or two to keep themselves in the hunt.

8. Bronx 4-4. After playing a fierce game against undefeated Rochester earlier this season, the Bronx flopped in the game of the week against Yancy. Bronx has a relatively light schecule the next few weeks, and if they can get on a roll, they could be moving up fast.

Need to get it done now:

Victoria 3-5. Not a bad schedule the rest of the way. They need to get it done now if they are going to get it done at all.

Nurse!! These teams need wins stat!

Atlanta 2-6. The dogs schedule is not very intimidating other than Yancy. They need to win just about all of them to have a chance.

Orlando 2-6. Whoever loses when Atlanta visits the Soul Bowl is likely done. Chances are that it will be Orlando.

Teams GM'd by Matt Millen's slightly less intelligent twin:

Niagara 2-6
Grumpy Knights 1-7
Emmaus 2-6
Orleans 0-8
Hartford 0-8

Well, at least they play each other!

Game of the Week: 4-4 Bronx Black Flag at 6-2 Port Moody Pain

This is a huge matchup for both of these franchises. Both are looking to establish an identity as a winning team after enduring a losing season last season. Bronx has only lost to the best of the best this season, while Port Moody has had flashes of brilliance, but at other times looked like they're the benefactors of a light 1st half schedule.

Port Moody desperately needs this one with their rough 2nd half upon them. Bronx also needs it bad to stay above .500 and in the playoff race. Both should be hungry, both should be going at each others throats.

Prediction: Bronx will bounce back after a tough loss. Bronx 34 Port Moody 23

im crushed by the loss Port Moody came ion with a better gameplan and executed better on offense although it was a sloppy game all the way around. still good for a gutted team. we are hopin to put a streak together before a huge game against Bronx. GG Port Moody you brought the pain and will be a worthy playoff team. oh and as always thank you again custer for the rankings they look straight off of espn.com

thanx for the rankings again Chris, Teikoku probably wont do so well against Florida considering the average level gap and what not lol but in the play off's it'll be different hopefully we can just find a weakness in their strong defense, seeing as theyve only had 40 points scored against them this season and Teikoku has had 397 lol odd's are stacked against us pretty high but thats also what makes it more interesting

Victoria...damn man! I tested your secondary only to find that it could take the punishment. I've got to say though that I'm quite pround how my secondary contained your team, I was getting an ulcer planning for this one. I used a new D A/I on you, untested, so I'm glad to see that it worked okay. Still some kinks to iron out, but for the most part pretty damn good!!

Don't be discouraged. We beat teams last year that AVERAGED 5 levels above us with depth and builds.
