Useless advice, a WR needs to do a lot more than just run. If you're not gonna post anything seriously constructive why bother posting at all.

Focus on speed, agility, and catching.
Look at the high level open builds. Figure out how much speed and agility you need to be better than your defenders.

That is actually good advice...a WR built with that as the foundation will be a top speedster.

But he's not gonna be able to do anything but run. 68 speed isn't actually that high and do you know how long that would take to reach those targets anyway.

3rd cap for a speedster is nothing nowdays. Most CBs will be faster than you. Take his advice and have fun not being able to do anything as the 5th fastest player on the field at any given time.

I'm actually a level or two away from that. My agility 61, My speed is 77 or so, FS is 10 and Quick Cu 7. So give or take about 3 levels I can have 10 in both Quick Cut and First Step and 80 speed and 65 agility.

what ive done is take speed to the second cap, then agility to the softcap... and now im getting speed up to the 4th cap while training and putting some sp and training catching. at level 16 this has gotten me to 85 speed w/ equipment, 50 agility, and 26 catching. The goal is to get catching to the softcap then finish getting speed to the 5th cap... Im also training vision to 30ish instead of jumping for now. he seems to be making strides, especially when he gets the opportunity to run long routes.

My point exactly, you're level 37 and you haven't even got your attributes and and SAs at those levels because WRs need other attributes as well as the speed related ones.

the original point was a good start...i might get speed higher before going to 10/10 in the two SAs, but it's the right path for a "speedster" WR.
blamo--i think getting your agility up a little higher might pay dividends for your acceleration. maybe get agility to 60 before focusing on getting speed to the next softcap. i could be wrong...god knows my WR build is far from ideal

Well, it turns out I'm already at the 4th cap... I have 67.96 speed right now, so my level up bonus when I ding level 17 will put me there. Either way, agility is something I do plan on investing more into, but I do think that getting the +5 points to get to the 5th cap and then leaving speed alone forever will pay off for me more in the longterm than bumping my speed up a little. Now that I look at it, though, I may dump some of the points I was originally planning on putting into catching into my agility, giving me a little more time to train my catching up.
