This week controversial team owner Sooneer has had to deal with a holdout in his Farm Team. Player Thunder Cash has announced his intention to sandbag for the rest of the season due to his claim that his contract was signed under false pretenses.

Thunder Cash had this to say:

"I signed a contract with the Oklahoma Sooners, I have it in writing that this contract carried with it the guarantee of a starting position on that team. Immediately after being signed I was shipped off to the farm league. I just feel like the owners in this league have way too much power. There needs to be a set of standard clauses set up for us to choose, so that we know what we are agreeing to"

Team owner Sooneer could not be reached for comment at this time. However we do have word that he has benched Thunder for the rest of the season and barred him from the locker room as a penalty for his public declarations.

Sooneer is no stranger to media controversy he is known for his past infractions including team stripping, and blatant farm clubbing. The league and its players are still at odds over the validity of such tactics in the GLB Leagues.

If your being guaranteed a starting job and end up on a farm squad spliting time it can be rough. Not his fault. Owner didnt live up to his end of the deal if it is true that a starting spot was infact guaranteed.

Whoa, Try never tried to reach for comments. I NEVER guaranteed him a starting spot, and said i'm more than willing to trade.

Simply put, He wanted his DT on his team, and thats fine, but he was the starting DT on one of my teams, and I said well, let swap Starting DT's, he refused and said he'd sandbag, so I benched him. I needed a DT not Cash.

This guy is a liar who likes to make grand threats.

Starting spot was not guaranteed anywhere, but I had him as the starter.

I endorse your message as false, and it is because you never tried to reach me

You were a starter, whats the problem? Other than you wanted your guy on your own team, and I wanted a DT to replace your DT?

You are a little slow aren't you?

You were the starter, until you said you'd sandbag unless I took your weak offer.

He signed a Contract Extension less than a week ago as well. So he's a little delusional.....

I'll trade him off for a DT of comparable level, if you guys want to deal with the children, I won't, I'll just bench him and teach little shits like this not to threaten people with sandbagging.

Let's look at this from another point of view....

About half an hour after you created this player, you expect to start for a well staffed team in the USA league. Being at most lvl 4 at this point.... and you find it hard to believe that they put you in the "minor leagues" to get you leveled up, before being moved up. Did you expect to start in front of someone several levels higher then you?

At this point, I believe Jeremy was GM of BOTH the Sooners and Sooner Training Ground.

So lets be reasonable here......

To use a real world example NFL players sign with a team and some spend a couple years on the practice squad, happy to get paid for the chance to move up.

Not the point at all, I am the same level as the starter on the USA team as we speak, and I was promised a starting spot on that team... I didnt sign up to be a player on a scrub team... also, if you are inferring that I am new to the game you are mistaken.

Lets also put this myth to rest... I didnt sign a contract extension, I am still on a 1 year contract. I signed a contract with less pay because I wanted to be a team player. I wish I was a child again, but alas I am an old man... You arent teaching me anything, sandbagging means doing whatever it takes to no longer be a benefit to the team, benching me accomplishes that just fine... do you think I care about the progress of this one player. It is more important to stand by my principles, especially in the face of someone who lacks them.
