We kicked the Tennessee Fury's ass today 30-7. Tennessee is a probable A6 playoff team with a 4-3 record. They predicted they would have 500 yards rushing against us but we held them below 20 yards rushing, and below 150 yards total. We had 3 times that many yards. It was an ol' fashioned ass whoopin'!

Great win but it looks to me like they went pass heavy against you...Somehow I am thinking they would have rushed more than 11 times in a game and in this one you should be more thrilled with the pass defense which was real good...

They had planned to run. As their GM said after the game, "It really was supposed to be run based." but they fell way behind quickly. Their first series they ran for -2 yards on a play and went 3 and out. We scored a TD. They went 3 and out again. We scored another TD. Finally, at the end of the half they scored a TD after we lost a fumble on our own 23 yard line. The second half they tried to run again but two runs for 2.5 yards and another 3 and out, and we drove down and scored another TD. After that, every time we got the ball we just kept widening the lead and all they could do was throw to try and catch up, but they only ran 44 plays total because they were usually 3 and out.

That was by no means a shot at you or your team, I watched the play by play and I thought your pass defense was great. I have to scout all your games if we want to come with 100 points of you! Good job...

I am not saying we are close to the level of the Aliens but we, the Cheetahs, did take care of business against an undefeated, high end team from USA BBB4.

Very nice! They probably did what I did, looked at your levels and went, pfff, easy W. . .

They were talking trash on a forum so I suggested to them we scrimmage, saying... "we are a lower level team just wanting to see how we do against a high level team like yours". They happily sent our owner a scrimmage invite minutes later.

OK, so I figure this is as good as place as any to get some clarification on something...

So when I go to the League Tab above I have a few questions...

When this season is over, the top 2 teams, maybe up to 4 in our league will advance up to the USA A#6 league right? Teams from that league will move up to the AA league and then the AAA league and then I guess the Pro League.

Is this right?

Are any of the Country Leagues/Regions considered better than the others?

Will the Champion of our BBB #11 league end up playing the Champion of another BBB league?

Just wondering.

We had a battle with the Boston Bears today. We outgained them, had a better yards per carry, better yards per pass, better completion percentage, but couldn't get it done on the scoreboard, mostly because we had 5 turnovers to their 0. Congratulations to the Boston Bears who this season were promoted from our own BBB#11 league. Next time we play you, we're going to have better luck with the turnover differential and it will be a different story!

dfoke, answering your questions:

the Conference Championship winners (the two teams that meet in the League Championship game) are guaranteed to move up to USA A6 next season. More teams can be moved up, as of last season. Last season we had as many as 4 teams from a conference here in BBB11 move up (as many as 8 teams total). There's no hard and fast rule that no more than 8 can move up but more than that would risk moving up some teams that are not ready.

A teams move up to AA, AA to AAA, AAA to Pro.

The USA teams are generally considered better than other countries. There is a regular list made of the relative strength of each League in GLB. This is based on computer rankings of team strengths. Usually the USA leagues dominate the top part of that list.

The League Championship game is played right about the end of the post-season, so there is no games after that. However, the champion of USA BBB11 and the champion of USA BBB12 will both promote to USA A6, although they will be in different conferences, and might play each other next season.
