Would you like to buy my bridge?
If your statement is true, why does the guy you linked have 4 drops in 14 catches this season?

I'd like to know the answer to drops. The WR's and my team are weak as wee girls and drop like old school ravers.

Ah, I didn't even look at the strength, just assumed given the title you were posting a high STR guy and went straight to his stats. I wouldn't waste your points on strength.

My possession receiver has 42 receptions and 1 drop this season through 7 games, and he only has 23 strength which I am pretty sure I have never put a SP into it - may have trained it a couple times in the past though can't really remember.
Speed: 60.73
Agility: 50.95 (56.95 w/equip)
Catching: 51.95 (67.95 w.equip)
Vision: 51.95
Jumping: 32.24
Confidence: 31.97
Stamina: 31.95
Strength: 23
PR SA's: 3, 2, 2, 2, 2 (and CE with +1 to PR SA's - 4, 3, 3, 3, 3)
I found once I get his catching up and redid his equipment to bump catching up that his drops started to be reduced by a lot:
Season 4: 11 drops
Season 5: 7 drops
Season 6: 1 drop (through 7 games)
Who knows he could go through a rough patch and up with more drops than last year, but I think his total drops should go down over all. Also he has almost as many receptions and more reception yards at this point in season 6 than he did in total for season 4 or 5.

no, str does not prevent drops. It does however help your WR catch the ball in coverage

It all depends the type of WR you are building of course, but don't rule out intense training on the leg press (+strength, + jumping).

My WR is one of the strength build WRs and for some reason he has been making drops like crazy this season...but he is very adept at catching the ball in traffic...and breaking tackles

Nice! Is that with strength at first soft cap?

Its actually significantly past the first soft cap...although I think it may have been around 54-ish in that replay...and that was before my +2 Power Thru Advanced Equipment
