How is this determined? I don't understand how we are 4-1 and ranked at #14 with teams we beat ahead of us? Just tryin to figure out how it works...

The combined win percentage of the teams you've played is .100. Once you start beating the mid level teams you'll shoot up.

Things wont start making sense until about week 8 or 9. Things should start to work themselves out by that point and through the rest of the season

There needs to be a version of RPI that incorporates points scored and allowed along with opponents win %.

You barely beat Greenville, who sucks. You had a nice win over So Cal, but they suck too. You got beat by the Legend but their two losses hurts thier rankings for you. You barely beat the Trucks, who also sucks, and that's with them running a balanced gameplan as opposed to the gamey assed gameplan they tried to beat me with (losers ran 61 times Strong I OT right cause it's a glitched play, and STILL couldn't beat me!). You beat the Cows, but again they are a shell of a team.

You basically are in the same boat as I was, until I beat the Legend. My wins were against cupcakes. Like Otter said, once you play and win against the middle of the pack teams, you will move up quick. I moved up 5 spots in the last 2 polls, and you can too.

And to the teams that I said sucked. It's not personal, you guys are just CPU heavy, or hit the brick wall recruiting, or are new and still getting your feet wet. Well, all except the Trucks. You guys really do suck! You have 4 GMs that GM a bunch of teams and all have mid to high level players under your belts and the best you could come up with Strong I OT right over and over? At least I know the reading comprehension amongst the 5 of you guys is high enough to troll the forums looking to this years gimped play. Well, you found it, and now the rest of your opponents know it too. Losers...

It's in the equation but once again, the RPI is heavily based on Strength of Schedule more than anything else

Thanks. Sure didn't think we would do the same. That first quarter was wacked...56 points and 493 yards combined. That was not pretty.
