Done. Good luck in your Week 6 matchups, folks.

1. Boston Nighthawks (5-0)
Defeated Green Bay Maulers 58-7
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 1)
Fast facts about Boston. Favorite band: Rush. Favorite period of history: The Russian Revolution. Favorite radio personality: Rush Limbaugh. Favorite author: Salman Rushdie. Notice any common thread here?
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210352&pbp_id=4168290
CB Sandesh Pawar had a great day - seven passes deflected and this pretty pick six.

2. Washington Bullets (5-0)
Defeated Doomsday Sin 24-20
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 2)
Nice, tight win over a quality opponent. It looked grim early for Washington, but tenacious defense led by Ken Cote allowed the Bullets to hold in the second half and preserve their undefeated record.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210265&pbp_id=4156394
Cote's in on this one too, as Darrell Mayhew grabs a huge pick and houses it to even the score at 14 in the second quarter. The Sin had led 14-0 after 1.

3. Detroit Demon Lions (4-1)
Defeated D.C. Warpath 105-3
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 3)
Move along, folks, nothing to see here. Yikes. CB Jeff Hunter had a great day, returning three interceptions for touchdowns.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210341&pbp_id=4167248
DDL had two Warpath passes returned for touchdowns before D.C. had a completion. Ew.

4. Cincinnati Shockers (4-1)
Defeated Kentucky Madcats 45-14
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 4)
Pretty much what you'd expect in this game. Cincinnati was ruthlessly efficient, forgoing the dramatic long pass in favor of confidently marching down the field with long, balanced attacks.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210304&pbp_id=4167994
CB Carlton Banks stops a late Kentucky drive with a 104 yard interception returned for a touchdown.

5. Philadelphia Pushovers (4-1)
Defeated Camden Outkasts 170-2
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 5)
Probably not even worth the pixels to describe this D-league ugliness. Sorry, Pushovers, I'll cover you a bit better next week.
Highlight play: Just too ugly for words. Sorry.

6. Doomsday Sin (3-2)
Lost to Washington Bullets 24-20
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 6)
They played the Bullets hard and gameplanned them extremely well - this game could have gone either way. As has been the case with most teams, though, the Sin really couldn't do much on the ground against the Bullets and hence had problems continuing their drives.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210265&pbp_id=4154713
Johnny Longwood evades double coverage and takes the ball 93 yards to get the Sin started on the scoreboard.

7. Gridiron Rage (3-2)
Defeated Philadelphia Continentals 56-38
Ranking: +2 (previous: 9)
The Arena League comes to GLB as the Rage curb the Continentals' newfound enthusiasm. This one was a four point game until the fourth quarter, but Hal 9000 put the game out of reach with two late rushing touchdowns. QB Peter Gallo, one of the East's best, had a stellar game, completing 23 out of 37 for 249 yards and five TDs.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210279&pbp_id=4161969
LB Clay Matthews had an excellent game. Here's a key fourth quarter stop which pretty much took the Continentals out of the game.

8. Orlando Pirates (3-2)
Defeated Rhode Island Red Wolves 30-27 (OT)
Ranking: -1 (previous: 7) Orlando K Rooster Andrews might have been fearing for his life after shanking a gimme 18 yard field goal in overtime. He eventually redeemed himself by hitting a 49 yarder with 1:54 left in OT. The Pirates escape with a win and head to a key matchup with Doomsday.
Highlight play: Can't do the 49 yard field goal, but that'd be my choice. Just envision it sailing through the uprights or something. Work with me.

9. Green Bay Maulers (2-3)
Lost to Boston Nighthawks 58-7
Ranking: -1 (previous: 8)
Can't be a surprise to Green Bay, but what really hurts is that their normally disruptive defense was pretty quiet today as they captured no turnovers. They did, however, have a lovely goal line stand (see below).
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210352&pbp_id=4165337
De-nied! Boston goes for it on 4th and Goal and Boat Anchor says, "I don't think so."

10. Rhode Island Red Wolves (1-4)
Lost to Orlando Pirates 30-27 (OT)
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 10)
The Red Wolves cement their status as the East's most dangerous non-playoff team, taking the Pirates to overtime before finally succumbing to a 49 yard field goal by Rooster Andrews with 1:54 left in the extra period. Rhode Island QB Ricky Ross was a stud, completing 15 out of 27 for an amazing 340 yards and 4 TDs.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210292&pbp_id=4164893
Great presence here by Ross leads to the Wolves drawing first blood in this contest.

11. Chicago Mustangs (2-3)
Defeated Kalamazoo Coyotes 33-17
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 11)
The Mustangs seem to be turning away from utilizing QB Andrew Vick. Given his 55.4 overall passer rating, you can't argue with that logic. Martin Automatica was phenomenal, hitting FGs from 63.5 and 63 yards out.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210250&pbp_id=4154333
DE Lawrence Jackson makes a huge stop on 2nd and goal, forcing a fumble which Tim Harper returns 99 yards for a touchdown.

12. Philadelphia Continentals (1-4)
Lost to Gridiron Rage 56-38
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 12)
Lots of good news in this for Philadelphia as they continue to improve and adjust to USA Pro. The special teams remained special with a second straight fumble returned for a touchdown, and the recent signing of FB Big Stump from Oceania Pro has obviously helped their running game. The bad news is that they face DDL and Boston over the next six days, so it might be a long week for the C's.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210279&pbp_id=4155597
Veteran Continentals HB Magnus Anderssen breaks a long run for a touchdown, tying the game at 7 apiece early in the game.

13. Kalamazoo Coyotes (1-4)
Lost to Chicago Mustangs 33-17
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 13)
The Coyotes showed some spirit in this meeting of old-guard USA Pro teams. They were tied going into the second half and actually outgained the Mustangs in total yards 369-362. A key goalline turnover in the first quarter really hurt K-Zoo as without that 14 point spread, this would have been a two point game.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210250&pbp_id=4154846
Coyotes FS Jon Bean and star defensive end Goliath Jones combine for this FF and recovery off Greg Alstott, which led to a Kalamazoo touchdown.

14. Kentucky Madcats (1-4)
Lost to Cincinnati Shockers 45-14
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 14)
Successful, sustained drives in the second and third quarters don't take me away from the fact that it's probably time to lose the CPU players.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210304&pbp_id=4166679
Jon Stark takes the ball in from one yard out to close the gap to 24-14.

15. D.C. Warpath (1-4)
Lost to Detroit Demon Lions 105-3
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 15)
QB Sammy Baugh went 24 for 51 for 229 yards, which doesn't sound too bad until you get to the six interceptions part...or the four interceptions returned for TDs.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210341&pbp_id=4167667
B+ for effort: Baugh tries to keep the one succesful Warpath drive alive. They settled for a field goal to avoid the shutout.

16. Camden Outkasts (0-5)
Lost to Philadelphia Pushovers 170-2
Ranking: Unchanged (previous: 16)
Disgusting.
Highlight play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=210347&pbp_id=4160810

I think the highlight play for our game should have been the safety we gave up. I guess that's what happens when we pass long every down.

edit: nvm, you showed it for them later. And awesome comment, "mazel tov"
