In a recent interview Springfield Isotopes HB was quoted saying
"I've been feeling light as a feather recently, and I feel as though I might be able to run around those blokes at least 5 times to get... what do you call those things? touch... ah yes, touchdowns. I can guarantee this, in fact I am so sure of it that if I am wrong, you can call me a Scott. I do believe we might even be able to win the whole game if we try our best, and get a good nights rest and a nice warm earl grey tea before the game."
when he was asked of why he was so confident all he had to say was:
"We've got some smashing good lads on the front, blocking seems to be in their blood, In fact if they were any better at blocking I might have to ask them to move so I could get to the endzone. oh, not really, but I do expect that chap who throws the ball might get a few touchdowns himself"
It was silent aside from a few groans for a while until he continued on
after a while more of him talking about how the opera he went to see last week was and a few more bad jokes, he went on to say:
"You know, I do believe we have a shot at our first victory this week, It would be a smashing good time if we did pull it off"
when asked abut the recent performances by the defense he just changed the topic and started talking about more boring and useless things.
As for the competition, they just laughed when we quoted these statements, we took that as a 'no comment'
