Not sure where to go from here. I built a pretty "safe" all-around HB that is able to adapt to Bort's changes. But I have to start making a decisions here as to what kind of back will be most effective. I'm currently a lvl 20 back on a new team. Here's his build;

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=829529

Strength: 53.29
Blocking: 13.8
Speed: 69.67
Tackling: 9
Agility: 47.06
Throwing: 13.8
Jumping: 13.8
Catching: 13.8
Stamina: 33.2
Carrying: 32.11
Vision: 18.67
Kicking: 9
Confidence: 22.29
Punting: 8

Elusive Back Abilities: 1 1 1 1 1
Power Back Abilities: 1 1 1 2 0

His stats are doing pretty well this season but he did boost early. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Leave Str alone it's fine.

Go with Speed, Agi and Vision

Get Agility to AT LEAST the 49 cap. I'd say to get it to 61.

Then get Vision to the 49 cap.

so has vision started to become more important to HB's where in the past it was minor.

Yeah, I thought vision was still worthless. Watching replays of the game yesterday, he was hitting the right holes consistently with 18 in vision.

You'll see an immediate increase in your ypc if you increase vision(35-40) and agility(55-ish)

For a great combo build, do as I've suggested before in other threads. 65/75/55 str/spd/agi with equipment. You'll sacrifice very little to get up that high. Run on combo. You want vision close to 35-40, so your player will be able to make the correct decisions about whether to avoid or run-over soon enough to act on the decision. You want a little more carrying, 40 should suffice.

I 2nd capped my strength this season and am seeing about 10 broken tackles a game and my build is very similar to what the guy said above.

Add something to the discussion or GTFO. In this thread and previous player have noticed immediate increases in their ypc following this combo build. 5.7 ypc and 30 touchdowns on a pass first offense, not terrible. This season, 22 carries in 4 games (I got a position on a promoted team and am a short yardage back-up), 5.5 ypc and 3 touchdowns. The starting RBs have similar builds (one has more strength than speed, the other has more agility than strength) and we're seeing fairly similar results. The build works.
