It has gone in to effect already. Today's sims use that.

It is a pretty big change. You'll notice a change in protection/pressure from LT/RDE right away.

I would assume Bort wouldn't allow Protect for ROT, just force more people to bring in a TE on that side on pass plays.

Well, the TE could already be moved to the left to block...not to mention keeping HB and/or FB in. I don't think he's taking the TE into consideration tbh

Oh I know, my assumption was that Bort could rationalize the buffing of Protect so that the LOT could hold his own on his side. That way you would only need to move the TE to the right side to deal with LDEs.

I thought most teams already had moved their best defensive end to the LDE position.....?
