Some huge games in Week 3 to help sort out the true contenders, pretenders and the true power rankings. . .

Good job to the Bevos and Sentinels in big statement games. 3 games decided by a touchdown or less in the West.

West:
1) Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens (-)
2) Rainham Raiders (-)
3) Texas Shaggy Bevos (+3)
4) Idaho Rex (+1)
5) Brooklyn Beastmen (-2)
6) Colorado Ice (-1)
7) Austin Packers (+1)
8) Steel City Sentinels(+1)

Dropping Out: Philadelphia Birds
Moving In: Steel City Sentinels

Only one big game in the East and it was huge. CID over Gangstas by 2 TD's in a game full of turnovers created by two great defenses, what a battle. 5 of the other 7 games were won by 150 points or more, so not much shakeup in the Eastern rankings.

East:
1) Cyberimagination Dreams (-)
2) Jacktown Gangstas (-)
3) Enghave Evolution (-)
4) Dirty Cheetas (-)
5) Myrtle Beach Carnage (+1)
6) Iowa Hogeyes (-1)
7) Louisiana State Tighas (-)
8) Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (-)

Dropping Out: NA
Moving In: NA

Battle of two undefeated teams coming up again this game. Idaho Rex, who has had an excellent season so far, including topping #7 ranked Austin Packers, defends their home turf against Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens. We're looking forward to the challenge of facing an undefeated team!

Must win for the Gangastas against Myrtle Beach this week to keep from falling to far behind in the standings.

We're going to suffer a beat down but we have been getting better and that's what we are looking at. Another learning opportunity

So in the West today, we have 1 and 4, 3 and 6, 7 and 8 squaring off.

In the East, 1 and 6, 2 and 5, and 3 and 8 squaring off.

Do we see the power rankings being confirmed or will there be a big shakeup???

(Or maybe do we see some upsets and some newcomers will leap in to the standings with upsets over Rainham, Brooklyn, Dirty Cheetas and LS Tighas?)

hmmm....Midgets over Cheetahs....nope....I don't see any upsets but we can always hope.

I am interested in seeing if South Bend can compete with the Tighas. Could be a good game.

That's some hefty stats, but in all fairness they're also against a team Jacktown was going to beat anyway. Last game Jacktown lost a premier matchup and Boosh was pretty quiet. It's great for the stat-line to rack up stats against a weak team but the most important thing is how does a player do in the critical matchups! I think Boosh is one of the top 5-10 most impressive players in the league but couldn't consider him an MVP if he doesn't have big games in big matchups.
