ya it doesnt seem like it would be real helpful. why would it matter if someone is online? just send them a message even if they arent and they will write back when they are online. it would be more useful if it was in conjunction with some kind of im/irq/chat feature

What is helpful is it being concentrated in one location for the people you talk to a lot or if you need an answer on something in a hurry you can see where to start. I agree a chat/im function would be the best

No I want the game fixed first, no one said anything about stopping what they are doing and put in a chat/im function, just saying it would be a nice feature.

im happy to have it though. anything that reduces the number of clicks needed to get to where i need to go makes me happy.

the friends list was suggested several seasons ago and it was in high demand. the imperfections in the game were exactly the reason we didnt get this feature sooner. its not like it was just suggested and Bort decided to put the game completely aside to work on the Friends List.
If we waited for the game system to be PERFECT, then we would NEVER get to have certain conveniences like these.
