You wouldn't play on any of my defenses. To many points in vision, to few in strength, stamina and confidence, To many in jumping to. SS's have to cover the TE. They need to be just as strong, even faster, able to stay on the field as long as the TE does, and not care if he makes a catch or two. poor some points into stamina, strength, confidence and some more into speed.

thats also a good point, it depends on the def. that u are in... and the def. that u plan to work in for the future... the def. i'm running in has me zone alot, so vision, speed, and agi, are key... if your def. has u help cover the TE alot then he's right

I'm surprised to see anyone who thinks a GLB safety needs that much strength. My safeties have never had a problem covering TE's and their strength was always relatively low. The majority of their missed tackles have come in heavy traffic where another player or two or three has been around to back them up. They don't force many fumbles, but have been doing fairly well deflecting passed, and do very well covering running plays. I have only recently started training strenght on my level 25 SS.

As for confidence, I really wonder how necessary it is. My level 25 only has the base value, I haven't put any points into it yet and I am satisfied with her performance. I don't think I will truly know the answer to that until I start training carrying and confidence together, but that won't be for at least another 2 seasons.

Very important advice: don't play for guys that don't know what they're talking about. As soon as someone talks about "too much" vision, speed or agility and asks you to put points into confidence - GET OFF THAT TEAM IMMEDIATELY!

Ask for a trade or pretend to be inactive. Just don't let them ruin your build because of their inexperience.

While stamina is somewhat important and should be raised to the mid 30s by leftover Skill Points somewhere between lv. 20 and 24, strength is a "to be trained" attribute and confidence a "to be trained at last" attribute.

Besides that, just focus on speed, agility and vision. Focus on them. Don't be statisfied by some shitty number that begins with 5.
