Any suggestions on how to improve pass deflections and INTs? I really don't care so much about INTs but as a DC, I'm getting very frustrated already w/ CBs being draped all over receivers w/ QB pressure and having completions right and left. I have a couple of CB builds myself where this is somewhat of a problem right now. 1st capped jumping is a given, but what about catching. Could this be the difference? Or swat ball SA? Like I said, just sick of having good defensive schemes putting players in position to make plays and not delivering and not sure how to fix it.

Swat Ball, Jumping , Catching, Sticky Hands are the obvious solutions. This game gives an extreme edge to WRs and offense against DBs

Yep. I'm not sure what can be done about it since it was happening against a guy w/ 1st capped jumping, 5 swat ball, 5 sticky hands, and mid-30s catching. Most of the CBs have similar builds. These are low-mid 30s lvl CBs BTW. We did get 2 picks on 30 attempts, but were giving up a ton of yards through the air and a high completion rate so not as many turnover on downs as I'd like, which was part of what led to a close lose. Caused 4 turnovers but surrendered almost 400 yards, 300 passing. <shrug>

Higher vision. Just because the first cap is reached, doesn't mean that it is enough.

I guess your guys are playing on close/aggressive. These settings dont work anymore since Bort put in some twists. My advice would be (and that is what I am using now and it works great after I got torched in the scrimmage games [4 INT, 3 INT TDīs]) tell them to set to close (if they have the attributes [speed/agility]) and medium (only go for the INT if you have help over the top).
This way you are less more likely to give up big plays.

I had 5 picks and 8 PDs in my last game after I switched around my equipment and changed my build tactics. If you need help, PM me.

i had 6 INTs, 3 INT TDs and 20 PDs in my first game...
pretty much everyone agrees that when it comes to CBs, speed and agility are the most important, followed very very closely by vision. after that, i would totally go jumping, and this combined with vision and agility is how you will get those PDs... throw in a but of catching and then bam, you'll start to see some of those PDs turn into INTs

Hahah what advice are you going to give him? Take his high level CB down to an A league so he looks good?

well it would def help... haha. buy go ahead and take a look at my awards. i obviously know how to get INTs. and i was out leveled then. end of last season i was only lvl 24. (boosted after team lost in playoffs, LVLd naturally, and now boosted again at the start if this season. you cant say a that a lvl 24 3rd string CB in SEA AA getting an INT award doesnt know what hes doing when it comes to INTs

I disagree with medium. If you have a decent number (6+) in Shutdown Coverage, aggressive is the way to go

Too bad the guys boasting about 13/20 PD's, etc in first games don't mention that those were 156-3 and 216-0 (or thereabouts score-wise) blowouts vs horribly mismatched teams.

Those games are non-evidence right there.

So far this year I have 8 Tackles, 1 INT, and 12 PD's through 3 games. I am 3rd string DB in a league that really outlevels our team as a whole. Speed and agility need to be high of course but I believe in a 1:1 ratio. I also agree that just because you have vision at 48 doesnt mean its enough.

Jumping is the key to DB's. The higher the better =).

If anyone wants any insight into my build feel free to PM me. Would be happy to be of assistance.

Jumping, Jumping, Jumping. I've seen CBs who started their builds by softcapping Jumping, and they got some pretty insane INT numbers. Like, 6+ in 1 season, which doesn't seem like much, but they were level 10-.
