I'm making a QB. Would it be a good idea to just slow build for a while get on a capped team and slow build until scramblers become more useful? What do ya think?

Get Vision to 1st cap then throwing then speed then agility. Also train confidence/strength/stamina occasionally

Scramblers are just pocket QBs with a little speed and agility.

I have a scrambling QB and well what i did is.

I dont want to disclose my build, but I'd say in order, go for Vision, Throwing, Speed, Agi Confidence/strenght and Stamina.

Stamina is gotta be decently high, but at the same time if you,re the only QB and dont care about the result and aa far as you get max XP you dont need stamina until you go to a "real" team.

Also you need to decide how high you want each stats to be before you start. That's mostly what i dont want to say as it would disclose my build, but pick liek i want this stats at 2nd soft cap, this one at 3rd this one at first.

I just thought that vision helped both passing and scrambling, so it was the main thing. I wanted throwing and speed high so i trained both after and trained throwin before speed as he could still be a good pocket passer early. Strenght was less of a factor to me as i could still make shorter pass and be effective well thats what i thought. It'll also be important to have a decent confidence so your guy doesnt suck if he throws one pick.

How the hell does a scrambling QB get sacked that much?

The team he was on was very, very bad. In the three games that were not blowouts last season, he wasn't sacked once, didn't throw an INT, and had at least a respectable passer rating. Kinda hard to judge his build given the situation. Looks like he's on a much better squad this season, so it'll be easier to judge his scrambling build soon.

ah he was on my own team slow building with a cpu o-line and a messed up gameplan to try some stuff.

Today he got 9/17 140 yards 4 carries for 35 yards on a gameplan that wasnt set for my guy much. Too many long balls for what my guy can do despite hitting 2-3 30 yard plus on double coverage. And 1 TD no interception also.

For onc ehe's ona real team.
