I am making a Linebacker set. It is going to be an experiment in smack talking SA's but I want to make sure they are good too. I will bump the SA's first day of season 8. Can you guys help me out with what you think I should work on for each position, and why. Also where their EQ should go.

Oops...Builds are open now. Anyone? Has this been done before? If so can someone post a link?

I've got 4 or 5 in all 4 of the intimidation skills with my LB. No idea if it actually works, but I think it does and that is all that matters.

This is my LB at level 37. He was playing very solid up till level 25 when I decided to see what would happen if I started pumping the glare and Trash talk abilities.

I found it very hard to gauge just how effective it was at hurting opposing qbs morale. In some cases it seems that the qb ratings were lower than average for a particular qb for the game vs us compared to other opponents. In the total assessment though I would say the correlation was weak to statistically irrelevant. I havent run any numbers through statistics formulas, so that is just my gut feeling. It is also impossible to say if the other teams that played those qbs didnt have one or several players with substantial ranks in glare or trash talk.

Your experiment is different, and more likely to succeed I believe. If multiple players on the same D are maxing the trash talk abilities I would expect it to be much more effective than only one player with high ranks. I like your approach, its alot better than mine which was done on a whim. Let me know how it turns out for you.

He looks like his stamina is too low to really test what he was trying to test. Should have gone with half the SA's and invested some in speed and stamina. I suspect finding the right balance would be way more effective than doing something like that.

It doesn't turn out too well.

My 20 LB is basically a "smack talking" build. The other teams average about the same, or higher completion rate against our team than they do everywhere else. Granted, that could have to do with the borked passing game this season, but oh well.

Looking at his profile is enough not to have to ask. Maybe after he gets some of the supporting attributes for the SA's into high enough levels to activate them (whatever that may be)...then maybe he can shed some light.

Bump interested in how this works in conjunction with the intimidation VA, and checking out his team stats, they have missed 3 tackles total and of course no missed tackles from the LB's.

Does not seem to be working.

This is assuming that Smack Talk or Intimidation SA's are tied into any specific attribute.
