Hi, I'm wondering about the "general" abilities, like D-Line General (NT), Defense General (MLB) and "intimidation" abilities like Trash Talk, The glare (LB), The Glare (DT).

How important do you think these attributes are? Would you say that a group of LBs that all have 3-4 points in Glare and Trash Talk might seriously affect the QBs morale and thus help improve the pass defense?

Would really appreciate if you could tell me more about your experience and whether that has worked for anyone before. Thanks a lot.

I don't think my experimental LB has had any effect on QBs morale whatsoever.

I don't know about a group but from i've seen the intimidation abilites don't do anything. The General abilites seem to make the team a little better, but you could probably find something better to put those points into.

It is strictly gut on this stuff, since you have no idea when it is working and when it is not. I will say that after this past season I believe that the 4 LB intimidation skills combined with the DT intimidation skills had an effect on teams I was involved with.

I believe in the General skills as well, but I'm not sure that a 10 in DLine general makes a difference compared to a 4. Should find out this year though.

So the basic conclusion is they are useless? I figured the same since I haven't seen many players using them and most QBs have very high confidence so above lvl 30 it's quite unlikely that they'll be affected anyway. Have put two points into my NT's glare ability put that's about it. However, I will continue to increase his D-Line General skill because I think those abilities are really effective.

I think the best way to find out is have a scrimmage against a team, that you know the QB on. Then check his normal Morale loss against the loss for that game. I would love to know. It has to do something otherwise it wouldn't be in the game. imo.

Also I think your guy need confidence to make it happen, again just a guess.

I would love to see a team of four LB with high intimidation SA's, and see if the quarterback just breaks down crying, and runs home to mommy.

I needed a new project. Check back in two seasons guys.

High Confidence, High Intimidation SA's. Anything else you guys think should be in there to trigger them?

BTW my possession WR is just now starting to catch very well.

cap your confidence, then see what happens. for some reason I keep hearing you have to have good confidence for those types of s.a's to work properly. I want to see if it's true.

There was a team in Canada last year that went with a defense full of these abilities...apparently they did well. I forget who they are, though.

like underdogs said, these abilities are the equivalent of jukes working with high agility, you need high confidence to use them effectively.

with 15 confidence, he isnt going to have very convincing trashtalk

How do you know though? SA's such as Juke actually say in their description that you need high agility to pull it off, but for Trash Talk or The Glare it doesn't say anywhere that you need confidence for it to work.

Maybe what I will do is pump the SA's first, then soft cap Confidence. See if there is a difference.

It only makes sense for them to work off of Confidence.

For them to work u need a certain amount of points for each point u put into the sa will work. Like say u have a corner with 9 super vision but only 15 vision ull still suck. U need a certain number to even get the sa to work. so the lb need like soft cap confidence prolly more if u want the whole 9 to work
