Anyone have a sense whether Closing Speed SA would work as a speed/agility booster when a DE is rushing the QB?

I have a DT with +3 str +1 closing speed; only upgraded once to +4 str. Haven't noticed much difference but he generally plays against players 10-12 levels higher.

I had closing speed equipment for this game +1 here is one play I believe it went off. I have never seen him do this.

Jerod Leto is the guy.

Do not think so. Closing Speed is for closing on a "ball carrier" and I believe Bort has said (though I can't find the damn post) that the ball carrier is a player rushing with the football (read: HB/FB on running plays, WR/TE after a reception, QB scrambling or on a draw).

This would lead me to believe that Closing Speed would NOT help with rushing the QB on a passing play, unless he scrambled.

Yeah I agree completely with this. But if you look at the above play, the quarterback drops to the left a little, and leto chases directly after him and looks like how it looks when closing speed goes off. he was just blocked.
