4th most important IMO after speed/agility/catching. Should be around soft cap by level 25

Based on personal experience and builds that I've seen, train it to 25 or 30 and then don't worry about it anymore. Diminishing returns after that point.

In my own experience, Jumping is a better use of sp's than vision.

I'd put it 5th in order of importance behind spd/agi/catch/jump.

I have to agree here, now I'm not saying it's worthless, but I'd spend my training point's elsewhere and just train it occasionally a couple of times a season.

Cap your vision, watch what happens. If you cap vision and don't see an immediate and dramatic improvement I will retire my wide receiver.

Which one? The level 6 or the level 27?

I've seen people with very low vision that dominate in tough leagues. Personally, I increased my vision by 10 last season because I listened to people on these boards and had the worst run of my career. I only turned it around after abandoning vision.
